Hey Happy New Years HIVE!

Lets go 2023!

Hey it's been a while

Hope everyone is doing well in the blockchain world. It's been a while since I blogged about, well, anything, but I should try changing that. This is one of my favorite blockchains after-all.

The bear market has been rough but motivation has as well, and I'd like to get over that if I could. I want to create stuff that impacts, stuff that inspires or helps people. Since the last time I've blogged, I have been trying to learn a few things. One thing I've learned a bit of is Python, and boy do I love it.

Python is cool as heck man!

So I started learning Python and I really fell for it. It is a really awesome language to learn from a beginner's perspective. What brought me into learning Python was working with Juypter notebooks on Google Collab and running stable diffusions to generate art. I was mesmerized by watching the artwork generate and I really wanted to learn how to run that, locally.

This began my journey down learning about Python and things like Anaconda, CUDA, my current laptop struggles which I might write about at some point...along with coding for blockchains. I decided to try running some code using Algorand as the blockchain to learn on.

Oh and Algorand.

I've been exploring the Algorand blockchain and developing python scripts that interact with it. Its been fun. Now that I have a little bit of a better grasp on python, I'm considering downloading BEEM and seeing what I can do with HIVE.

Here's to a wonderful 2023 year

Hey you! Who are you?! 😁 Welcome back & Happy New Year, Amphlux!!

I want to create stuff that impacts, stuff that inspires or helps people.

That is a wonderful thing that slumbers deep in my heart as well, however, as someone who also struggles to blog consistently, may I give you a little piece of advice? Start small. Not every blog post has to be a master piece. Write about your journey and inspire people to wanting to go on a journey too.

Just reading this post here makes me want to look into Python (no time though) and I want to see what you can come up with for Hive.

Anyhow, just my 2c. It is great to see you back here. 😍

p.s. why is your laptop struggling, I thought you got a spiffy new one...

The new laptop I got from system76 is malfunctioning hard, I sent it back, and the laptop I received back is basically bricked. So I opened another support ticket with them.

I another laptop in the meantime that I am enjoying quite a bit, but I really wanted a good daily Linux driver.

Oh geez, that sucks hard. Hopefully, third time's a charm 🤞
