I have always tried to surround myself with people that are passionate. Persons who are optimistic in nature, not looking at what things are, but, what it can be. Not if something will be, but, rather when it will happen.
Passion is inspirational. I can feel it in you and it is intriguing to watch your soul become motivated.

There are countless things about which people are passionate – if something can be experienced, studied, collected, grown, or raised, I can find somebody-somewhere- who is passionate about it. This itself provides great variety in life- as we mix with those whose passions are different from ours. A gentle mix of passion and spice that makes the world go round.
So, I ask you; what is it that fires your engines every day? What is it that gets you up in the morning? What moves you? What is your passion? — at smelling the bouquet of life.
Feel free to leave me an answer in the comment section! I would love to know what your passion is! I didn't have to think long or hard about this, although, I did find that I have far too many passions to fit into my twenty-four-hour day. I have a feeling that many of us do.
I would say that I love photography. It used to be that I loved taking family snapshots, to keep the memory alive, but, slowly it evolved into something much more than that. Then one day, it just didn't seem quite right without some words paired with it. I'm not sure where that came from perhaps to explain, or perhaps, they just needed to be let out. They may be thoughts or musings or even an occasional piece of pseudo-poetry.I'm not even sure that is a real word, but, let's step over that for a moment or three and just leave it be.

Then again, just rambling or thoughts may come tumbling out. Admittedly, I have them often.
Golden opportunity, golden touch, golden boy, golden rule...Oh, the richness of gold. Golden can mean that a person is in a desirable situation that will likely lead to some sort of success. Like bringing me a small bunch of golden sunshine tightly bound in grosgrain ribbon. Desirable and quite likely successful in making me happy. Life awaits you in all its fullness and joy. Happy Saturday to you — at the corner of happiness and sunshine.
Sometimes I want to make a statement, so I put words on my pictures. I remember the exact day that I made this, what I remember is that there was horrific violence in the world that day. I was so taken back by it, that the only thing I wanted was to embrace the silence that was thrust upon my soul. Oh, my soul.
And perhaps, just maybe, I might have forgotten to tell you that I love flowers. Especially if I can tie them to a challenge. There must be a flower. Always. #alwaysaflower

I am good at nothing. Yet, I enjoy a lot of things. I learned long ago I can enjoy things without being the best, or even decent at them. Very freeing actually. I must be passionate about enjoying many aspects of life in general.
I didn't ask what you were good at, I asked what you were passionate about, just for the record. You don't have to be good to be passionate. It's good you enjoy life, and I get it. It is the right attitude to have.

I don't know if I am passionate about anything in particular, but perhaps I am passionate about exploring many things and working toward something better.
I think you are a passionate person, in my opinion, which really counts for nothing. You analyze the world, delving into how and why and spit out the reason. I am not sure how you do it, every day, but, your brain intimidates the hell out of me.

Thank you for this post. It got me thinking and reflecting on my own experience.
Following my passion a few years back is what got me to where I am today and because of it I am much happier where I am now. I can't help but tell people to figure out what they are passionate about, what they love to do and try to make a living out of it. It might not be the best recipe for everybody but it worked out for me.
This post is also what inspired me to finally write my own Introduction to the Hive after crashing the Hive party a few weeks ago and being a total stranger to everyone.

You are welcome! If I have helped in any way, I am truly happy. Sometimes, it takes time to realize that place, few are born into it.
All things being relative, sometimes it doesn't work if you have a family, you cannot afford to at times. If you are taking care of aging parents, etc... Circumstances prevent this and we have to be able to go with the flow.
I never put up a welcome post in Steemit when I joined and I am sorry I didn't. Congratulations on finally getting it out!

That's for sure. Leaving a secured monthly paycheck for the unknown is something that is too scary for a lot of people, even if they don't actually like the job. The main reason could be different circumstances as you said.
For me making the jump was scary having a 8-month old baby at the time but my wife and I were fortunate to have a bit of savings to help us in our journey.
You are right, it does take time for one to find his/her passion and it may evolve and change overtime. I just believe that doing what you love makes life a bit sweeter 🙂

Passion always outdoors exploring, investigating, dreaming, plenty of thoughts both negative and positive swimming around never being said out loud for fear of being admonished, (such as PC world we live in).

Actually, i have never thought like which passion is keep running my engine. The start and end like a machine, passion and hobby is just committed to suicide for maintaining office and family. Photography is passion but you can't learn alone and also need to spent time with it. Beside that fishing, kite flying is in the list.

Just woke up, and this came. Hahaha! 🙃 I don't know if my brain would work this early in the morning. Maybe I need a coffee first before answering what I am passionate about. It's a tough one.
Well, I think gardening fascinates me. I walk up everyday looking forward to see the new shoots, new buds that would come out, how God make things grow. The miracle of life is a wonder. And of course, harvesting the fruits of my labor! 😍
I'm also passionate about sunset. I can watch it everyday. I wish to be able to live in a place, perhaps by the sea, that has a beautiful sunset. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be passionate about photography then, so that I'll be able to capture each and every color of the skies, everyday. 😍 No two sunsets are alike, right? 😉
And I am most passionate about my relationship with God. I see to it to read the Bible everyday and live its principles. ❤

We live in a place devastated by Supertyphoon Haiyan, the massive storm ever recorded in history, that's why every brewing storm now brings back that awful memory. So, I think I can never live by the sea. It's just a wishful thinking. 🙃

I love photography, but I am surrounded with photographers that understands ISO, apperture and all, that I don't understand! 🤯😟 So, I am passionate about it in my own special way, not the technical one. 🤐 If it's pleasing photography in my eyes, then it's good! Hahaha! 😂🤪
I have too much more to learn about photography. But if I have a camera that I can play with, and is not complicated, maybe I can learn more. What camera do you use?
I'm a Canon girl. Most are probably Nikon, but, honestly, they are pretty equal. I would say that a good cell phone takes amazing pictures and lots of people have ditched their cameras and take their phones instead.
I agree that I take some pictures just because they are pleasing to me and sometimes even put my camera on auto... I won't lie. :) Then I play with the settings. I am a novice photographer, trust me. Sometimes, I get a lucky shot, but, for me, it's a shot in the dark some days!
Hahaha! 😂 I have to agree on that! Good cellphones now take pictures as good as the cameras! 😂 Hmmmm, I think I have to invest in cellphones then than a camera! 🤪🙃
Seriously! You can even get macro lenses for your phone! That is what my sister did! LOL Good cellphones are so expensive here!
It is not unexpected to put on over $1,000 for a new one. Sometimes a camera is cheaper, but, not the good ones. Everything has a high price on it.

I saw a friend who put some lens to his phone camera, too! It would work! 😍 Same here, phones are expensive too. But maybe not as expensive as the phones there. 😊

Well from the past few months I feel like I have nothing share, you know because of the recent situation, many things of life changed so far so I just feel totally blank and just wake up thinking what is waiting for me and am I ready to face the new day or not...
Maybe I will write a post explaining my feelings... Let's see...
I think that is a great idea to put those thoughts into words. I am working, so I have been busy, but, when I am not, I am going through old photos, editing, writing a little, cooking a lot, zooming with the family who live all over the world... I am not going to wait for life to happen. I have to make it happen.

I am just happy to be up another morning and after my coffee i organize my agenda and if it hasn't come to me yet i go for my jog like i do every morning and think about on the way but to all honesty my days are always filled and sometimes i wish i had more hours in the day 👍
I am definitely with you on that one! Could I buy a few more hours to the day? I like my morning to be started with coffee and followed by a run/walk/or a combination of both. I have been doing more yoga lately as I find that I am not using those muscles as much because I run.
But, I love my life and my days are filled. One cannot ask for anything more than that!
