2021 ASUS Laptop Update

OBS did not open under my current 418 Nvidia driver. I was not able to startup my OS under 520. So, I may retreat back to 470 which is what I had originally. But I have no idea what causes my PC to randomly freeze. So, to be continued.

I was using 418 today. Will try to switch to 450. If that fails, I may try 470 meaning exactly back to where I started at yesterday.

Success. I was able to switch from 418 to 450. See my logs for more info. In 418, Discord would not load. Perhaps other programs may not load either. But I decided not to test out a bunch of apps on my 2021 ASUS Laptop to see. So, I switch to 450. So, 450 worked. I need to try to stress test and whatever else I can to see if my laptop will still randomly freeze or not. I should look for Ubuntu drivers that are designed specifically for ASUS, my integrated CPU GPU circuit board, RAM, the motherboard, cards, ports, and also the internal SSD hard drive inside. One of the reasons why this laptop randomly freezes may not have been just the 470 driver as mentioned earlier (good thing I went from 470 to now 450) but more over the SSD. Cannot say yet. We will see. Windows 10 reboots and freeze randomly.

Sleep

It looks like 450 does not support sleep. Also, cannot fully use OBS. Cannot see web browser window, can only see camera on OBS and not backgrounds. Am trying 510. Fail. 510 did not work. I am now on 470 server. But sleep is not working. I switched to regular 470 and sleep worked on that. OBS worked on both 470 versions. But now I am basically back to where I was. Back to square one. So my PC may still freeze. But maybe it is SSD related more so and not GPU/CPU related. But not sure still either way.

The speed and power of your computer can be limited by the speed of your motherboard. A 64-bit motherboard is better than a 32-bit motherboard. There might be 128-bit motherboards, that would be even better. They call it a 64-bit architecture. 32-bit means like a highway with 32 roads. 64 would be 64 roads.
