Cheers to 78.....

Hitting it

Yesterday, I hit the magic (78) reputation on hive and goodness me! It's been a fun ride. Inasmuch as milestones don't really mean a lot, to me, it does, and I consider it growth. Intrinsically, we have to be growth inclined to be growth motivated. Externally, people might not see growth in you, they don't feel you progressing, when it's not visible or fast, they might not acknowledge it when growth is slow it makes it difficult to cherish, or see any progress, but this is why we ourselves need to acknowledge it. We need to measure it,

"I'm I the same as I was yesterday?" Or questions like "what has changed"? "What are my ideologies, are there any levels I've unlocked lately?". We need the illusion of growth to actually foster the sense of growth within ourselves. A lot of people are of the opinion that growth needs to be obvious in other to be appreciated.

Percieve It, When it's Not There

This is not true, especially in business, most entrepreneurs give up half way because they perceive that they're not growing. They haven't unlocked a certain figure which they set as a resolution for. They fail to see the connection that fosters progress and hence, they create a mindset of impossibility simply because they cannot measure their growth internally.

Money is a particular aspect which people feel they need to make it big and instant to make an impact, this is however untrue. Since I've been on the hive blockchain, that mentally has changed. The world is becoming community based. This means creating wealth fostered collectively by individuals holding the same themed based goals, the gaming industry itself is a theme based industry that has come a long way, building and changing, tweaking and becoming better.

Grow... Slowly

So this means that its success is built on gradual, steady and continuous innovation that can increase monetary prospect, but not without a lot of time to make this achievable. However, not everyone feels the need to build slowly. The internet is filled with schemes that promises instant millions. It makes it rather impossible to convince people to build naturally.

One thing about building is that you don't just give time, you learn and when you learn you gather experiences which can also further monetize into other ventures too which signals versatility for you. I used to make a lot of emphasis about time because I'm always time conscious. When you think you're wasting time, think of the things you've learned in the process. Progress can be measure in experience and knowledge and not just monetary value. on hive, there's no timeline, just you; your goals, the extent to which you learn and the pace you set up to develop as well.

Sorry to drift off, on that mindless ramble. The truth is, appreciating little things matters a lot. Like I said, I'm a sucker for milestones. It doesn't just show me how far I've come, it pushes me to be even better. It's why I always appreciate every little milestone. Furthermore, it's individually important.

Each one, by themselves, needs to see growth, especially when they're building slowly. Don't think about the time, think about the thrill, the experience of killing two or multiple birds with one stone. Don't think of the opportunities you've missed. Sure you can, sometimes. But when you dwell on it, it creates a feeling of stagnancy, and you tend to be sucked in, it makes you ungrateful to yourself, and you see no essence to your efforts.

But here I am, grateful for my choices and thankful to YOU for believing in me as a brand, a friend, a fellow hustler, a confidant and part of the blockchain spectrum at large. To here's to 78 an irregular number. Thank you all, cheers, for helping me come this far. You've influenced my choices and formed part of my experiences as well.
