We are now officially down more than 98% from our 2021 All Time High of $3.35 , I remember seeing $3.33 pop up on coin market cap that day and having a power down released and selling 17K hive at $3.25 minutes later. It’s really a bummer where we are now. Still the whales vote for DHF waste & pretend things are find. If u care about something, admit it’s challenged and help fix it. Instead all I hear is things are fine and nonsense like HBD will soon be the Bitcoin networks stable coin. A Dev said this at Hive Fest 2025. It’s just sad so many keep playing pretend. I sadly think it’s over. We will see further collapse. It didn’t have to be this way though, just admit we are down users & price massively and let’s fix it, instead just fantasy & nonsense where nothing changes.
It's difficult; the thoughts of the whales and the users aren't in sync... For example, why isn't there any market research proposal, like taking random people who don't know what Hive is, giving them the task of posting and commenting, recording everything so the person doesn't cheat, and seeing what difficulties new users have so that DApps can correct the problems? The longer we are accustomed to an environment, the more we begin to think that everyone already knows what we know.
But there are proposals using DHF to finance car races...
Those with more power should be doing more for this project.

Very true, but make that 1.6 million when we go down another 50%. What’s more likely after a 98% collapse from All Time Highs, going to 99% which isn’t much given the trend although it is 50% more down, or a total turnaround and bottom made here where we are today a few %. I’ll always love Hive and the hours a week invested here past years but I have no confidence we aren’t sub penny in three years. Im not making a call we are going there, just don’t believe we are likely to not go a lot lower and never go up again to anything manful.
I am tired of watching Hive Fest 2025 stream months back & I hear a dev funded by DHS and supported by most whales or many , and the devs just goes on & on saying HBD is going to be huge and will be the stable coin for the Bitcoin network, this is not just laughable, it’s beyond fantasy land. That’s not fan 1% chance of happening. I’m tired of the devs & many other high profile accounts not admitting it’s a tough period and we need some changes. Instead it’s just more & more outta touch fantasy like takes over & over. HBD has its purpose, but this storyline it’s about to go mainstream is so beyond reality. We need honest takes that things are rough, then changes can be made. Instead it’s nonsense mostly.
My point isn’t just devs & whales being outta touch though. I look around and more than half or so of average size accounts are trading delegation for a “owed” daily upvote , which comes no matter what they post! This lead to many mailing in low quality low effort crap daily, and because over 70% of rewards for many are all auto daily bot votes. SSG-Community bot votes anything even if a couple sentences or AI written crap, same with the 4 Ed’s accounts who core daily if you delegate 1000 or 2500 HP. Leo doesn’t just trade delegation for votes, it’s strait up cash buy via a monthly subscription. If u go to these groups discord there’s a missed vote section, at lesst for SSG & EDS, it’s pathetic. I was a member once and used to delegate myself, I realized much content was mailed in crap just posting daily for the bot votes so I removed those delegations a while back and prefer to earn 70% less and not be a hypocrite. There’s plenty who post legit good content and use the extra votes as a base , but others who its 80% there upvotes and after years of this they mail in posts with no effort, one or two in particular post a couple sentences and get the EDS & SSG-Community votes daily for it. It’s gross all around, so definitely I’m not just picking on the whales and devs. It’s bringing down entire community. Sorry for the long reply but I don’t get a ear like yours every day! I appreciate it!

agreed. the more active people / witnesses are, the more support they should get. it’s just hard for a lot of people to keep seeing the same accounts growing and hive hasn’t followed suit. things like your curation project helps for sure. just need more support across the chain

I didn’t discredit anyone, I pointed out some accounts were using AI. I didn’t name anyone & was generalizing to avoid mentioning any account by name. Due to this, @hurtlocker has banned me from community , it’s beyond ridiculous me telling the truth got me banned. I wasn’t disrespectful to any one account and avoided mentioning names and causing issues. I simply said what we all know from running text from many posters content through AI shows, that it is AI generated. I never said all or anything like that! I said the truth and he banned me for it? He even removed my currrbt post just to be petty. This is a joke of a response to calling out fraudulent actors using AI. I didn’t say u did or anyone specificity. I have no idea why u replied with such a nasty comment to me under a post that had nothing to do with u. It was just an observation I thought @hurtlocker should be aware of. Instead I’m banned and for what? Pointing out the truth that SOME accounts are having AI write everything. Not all, some. This reaction makes me question a lot more now. How can it not, I’m banned for what? This is shady AF reaction.

Keep it simple, if people use AI, they don’t get upvoted. Instead he banned me for bringing up I see a lot of accounts using AI. This is the most bizarre reaction to a comment simply saying something obvious I’ve ever seen. @hurtlocker kicked me from community and even got so petty to remove support & mute my only post hours later in the community. This is just weird AF.

More incentives to make people stack HP has to be way right now.
Exactly, witnesses can decide the maximum APR value, which would be whatever each one chooses, and with that, people would increase that percentage according to an equation/formula based on their HP stake.
and i think above all it adds some fun to the mix. combine it with what hivebuzz does, highlight the different tiers people unlock. make it an event. people would love it
