This one was a cool find, and it turned into much more.
While taking a drive with Red-Pepper, we saw this beaut! We stopped to pick it up, but didn't get a chance to photograph it, so the @little-peppers put it in a crate outside overnight. By morning, something interesting had happened.

A VISITOR?

This was crazy to see! When we checked on the turtle in the morning, another turtle had came to visit it, or perhaps to try a jail break!

In everything that I've seen in the world of turtles, this was a first. Have you ever heard of anything like this happening? Because it was so peculiar, I made a quick video of it right away.

BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OF THE TWO

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

I love your pics. They make for fun memes.
LOL - You should eventually release them in a papa-pepper photo meme post! I like them a lot!
JAIL BREAK!!!

Indeed!
Cool turtle.
I like to see them walking in slow motion.
Cool beans.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks man. It's great to see so many of these around!
Hi @papa-pepper that might have been the spouse of the other turtle checking to see the safety of his spouse or a crush crushing, or an enemy laughing at the other turtles misfortunes.
LOL - One or the other! Good one!
Lol thank you Sir. Nice post
Probably these turtle now have access to technology, they can now communicate. The other turtle might have watched prison break and want to be the michael scoffield.
On a real note, it might be a family member so it decided to track it with their gps since the other turtle didn't return home but wasn't fast enough to get away before it was caught.
Hahaha brilliant idea 👌👌 or could be both are Ninja Turtles 🐢 and before they could use their power, @papa-pepper arrived with camera 😂😂
Wow amazing!! How could the visitor know that there's a buddy in there?? That's awesome!! But eii @papa-pepper, perhaps the visitor is now blaming the turtle you found... you know why?!? Because now the visitor is in jail too 😂😂 now the visitor is regretting; "why the *ell I heard your call and came over!!" 😂😂 kidding aside, that really amuse me!! 👌
That video?
If ever there was a chance to use a bad 70's Jazz sound track, it was that.
One turtle shows up overnight, pining for another?
It's probably the most classically overused 70's jazz porn trope ever!
LOL!
photography is nice, I really like the turtle turtle.
Well it is the season for mating.
Greetings is a photogenic turtle, very easy to pose as a model. @papa-pepper success
Box turtles are the coolest! I love the orange speckled coloring on those guys, and congratulations on setting up a successful honey trap. My guess is that they are looking to mate. I'm going to look this one up and see if I can identify what species this is.
The animals are coming two by two... are you building the ark?
LOL - I will if I'm told to... but I hear next time it's fire.
Ha ha you're right!
Wow that is wild. For him to find that friend or potential mate that quick and they are so slow in moving. Incredible and really cool papa. Thanks for sharing
this is very cool, you get a very beautiful and interesting.
the turtle's pretty cute my God
That's very cooool!
There is so much more going on in the animal kingdom that we give credit for.
I'd love to know how one turtle tracked the other turtle down. He must have ran all the way to get there in time....
Woow amazing,, You can capture such photos and videos, but the size of the turtle this time, a little smaller
Amazing more Intelligent than we think maybe. Although when you put the other in I can imagine the conversation. "Why didn't you hide? Now were both screwed " 💯🐒
LOL - That's pretty much it... but they are both free on our land right now, so I guess it worked out!
Yer a new life together how romantic. 💯🐒
Beautiful animal!
I have seen dogs liberating another dog, but a turtle rushing, well, moving slowly, to another's aid is new for me.
New to me too!
Beautiful pictures!
i like turtles!
You sure it is not turtle breeding season? We had some mysterious turtle appearances lately too. We started out with a neighbour finding one and bringing it to my garden since we have a mall pond and it is fenced in. Last week we found two more turtles in the garden. Yesterday my son found another one in the pond so we now have four turtles more than we started with...
I figured that might be it. @Armadillocreek recently caught a few in the act....
I saw another pair just this weekend, couldnt get a good shot, but I think its the season for love haha!
photography is worth admiring
