I'm not sure what's causing this Steem pump right now but it sure does look awesome when its going up. π€π€
We just seen a 25%+ increase of the price of Steem in the last few hours.... can the pump continue? ππ π
With the turmoil in the traditional markets and the economy this week, anything bouncing up is pretty exciting after all the loses.

yea it does look good but two weeks ago it was just over 28 cents. Maybe it will get back up there.

If we look at a lot of the big βoldβ Steem accounts they are powering down, due to the uncertainty. So my guess is that a lot of the money flowing in is through people from the Tron blockchain. So no matter what the motifs are of Tron, if it is the worse case scenario, they will need to buy more Steem to get more control, and this will push up the price, or they believe in the blockchain and buy and push up the price. I guess it is kind of a win win loose loose situation
Perhaps there's something big lurking, maybe a blockchain split where people who have stake will get the same stake amount in the new chain. Then the dump will begin afterwards. Just saying...
Let's see how far this pump will go. Pop corn is really!
