The jump was too big so we have now in 8200, but the situation is interesting.
Worth to note jump was after Iran threw missiles on USA and we have news of Iran trading premium on Bitcoin sine come days. True or not that its correlated, whales can play over it.

Why Altcoins Dump Initially on Big BTC Pump?
This is simple but nobody told you this. People sell altcoins ASAP for BTC, then the BTC for USD.
Later when this goes back down, they rebuy BTC with USD (yet keep USD profit) and rebuy alts.
Now they have same alts number (or more), same BTC number (or more) and some USD.

Litecoin held well in BTC value and gained in USD value over the episode. Looks like it is another 'safe haven' coin.
