I'm a co-founder of Allcryptotalk.com a site that was created to make a change in the crypto currency world which was opened August of 2014. Since then we have been a small community, an have been opened for now almost two years come this August 2016. The site was opened by swingline who wanted to create a site where fud people or persons could not tarnish names of businesses or new startups such as altcoins, exchanges or people just selling goods or services.
Issues with crypto communities not doing enough to protect their users:
- What we have all seen over the years is people who were early adopters, herd the sheep. Meaning when one of them talks out about a company service or user with out proof they can have users reputation or business destroyed in a matter of hours to days.
- False rep being given by scammers who claim they sent bitcoin or altcoin's an they never did.
- Negative rep given because someone is making a service that someone is involved with or starting hoping to get rid of the competition.
- Forums or communities directly being the hub of tens of millions of dollars worth of scams an do nothing to prevent it.
- Allowing the trolling of entry level users who are interested in crypto currency but get scared away potentially losing millions of dollars worth of investors who might not have been scared off if people helped instead of trolling them.
- An allowing spam non stop spam to flood the community for monetary gains.
What Allcryptotalk plans to do to help solve these issues:
- Reputation system that is actively chat for abuse, if you haven't done trades with users you have no business giving them reputation with no proof of purchase or wrong doing.
- Anti-fud marketplace making fudders prove their claims. If your going to sell physical goods you are going to need to provide proof of items.
- Email verification to prevent bots an signature farmers.
- Active moderation of mods on all section of the site at all times.
- Active investigations of reputation system an truthfulness of posts.
- Making sure the forum currency isnt being abused.
