Also I was planning to buy Hive again only next month but I decided to not wait and buy it now. This purchase that I will not be able to buy nearly as much Hive as I want next month but I should still be able to power up another 1+k HP next month as well. On the bright side I am once again trying to stop gambling so that means that I will be once again powering up 100 percent of my HP rewards for a while at least.

Yes I agree. I see Hive as loong time investment. At worse case I will lose all I have invested. At probably the most realistic case I will earn enough Hive for a decent life in old age. But best case scenario is that I thanks to Hive I will not need to worry about money ever again. This case is least likely. But I see it as my biggest/ most important gamble. as well as something worth fighting for.
I really like the way you see it. I also see Hive as something worth building for the long term. I may not have much now, but I want to keep growing it little by little and see where it takes me.

You just deposit crypto to hive engine or you use bsc network?
In splinterlands I buy credits. then buy cards with credits. then sell cards for DEC(at huge loss most of the time).Move dec to Hive engine. Sell Dec for Hive. And then move Hive to my Hive account...super annoying but the biggest problem is that loss at selling cards for dec.
Ohh bro there is 6% fee for selling cards. You really lose a lot of money.
