I guess some people just aren't the dirty laundry type. Does that really make them dishonest? I don't think so, was it ever there business to begin with. If someone can't see the forest for the trees I am not going to give them a pair of binoculars.

...there is a difference in choosing to air 'dirty laundry' and avoiding and being open.
That's not dishonest.
I have my stuff I, and like you say - it's no ones business but your own.
That's quite different from creating a image of yourself to present to the world, and the cost of that investment in your presentation ....is not being honest.
Oh sweetie from what I've gather of your image presentation if I was sitting next to you in a bar, depending upon the amount of attraction, I'd take you home to get the best of the worse of you.
Dress it up anyway you desire but it still comes down to seeing the forest for the trees. Just as I see you people see me, it all plays into the classification of class, are you a glowing redwood, the undergrowth or just plain dirt on the forest floor. Unfortunately for me I'd be considered the latter to anyone I'd consider worth it so there really isn't any reason to keep on trying.
I'm not trying to present 'an image'. Just being me.
That is very presumptuous of you mademoiselle(?) - Humph! that I would go home with you ....
(although, in fairness- and historically speaking - I rarely say no to anything fun).
I don't identify with trees, soil or small herbaceous species, so I can't really give you much input on that one...
I know it was presumptuous, it works both ways, don't worry I know I am not your type. lol.
mmm......it's also very presumptuous to know what my type is, isn't it? lol
