Leonids are productive meteor showers associated with comet Tempel-Tuttle, also known as a spectacular meteor storm that occurs every 33 years. Leonid got their names from the location of their radiance in the constellation Leo: the meteors appear to be radiating from that point in the sky.

It is estimated that this one Leonid meteor shower will last from November 6-30 and the peak night will be November 17-18. Observers who hunt leonids can enjoy 15 meteors per hour speeding at 71 km / sec. Leonid's meteor shower coming from the residual dust of the Tempel-Tuttle comet will appear to come from the direction of the constellation Leo.

For meteor hunters, the new constellation Leo will be published at midnight at 00:19 WIB. The large convex moon had already risen and would adorn the night sky until dawn.
