These beetles show up this time of the year. They are about 3 inches long and look like something from Star Ship Troopers. A lot of people wouldn’t save a beast insect like this.
Would you guys save bugs like this from the pool or is the only good bug a dead bug?
These are harmless but they scare me anyway. One flew down the back of my shirt once. I thought it was a leaf at first. Freaked out.

I know when my folks moved down to South Carolina it was very strange to me to be sitting on their porch and have a little lizard or frog jump on me. There wierdest bug is something called a Palmetto Bug, its basically a nicer name for a cockroach lol. The things gross me out so much...
Yeah the bugs freak me out for sure. I hate seeing cockroaches.
