What's Up STACKERS!
You know how it is, It's spring cleaning time! I tend to go through all my stuff couple times a year that I haven't used in a while and give them to goodwill or throw away.
I came across some old stuff of mine when I was just a young buck in the 80's and 90's.... My old baseball, football, and basketball card collection.
This reminded me the first time I became an investor in my teens. If you think about it, it's kinda like cryptocurrencies! It has tons of hype, speculation and drama concerning the price. 🤣
I'll probably hold on to these cards for the rest of my life as a reminder to myself how I became an entrepreneur. I never knew collecting cards in my early days would of shaped me into becoming an investor today.

A few people keep saying Yu Go Oh, I never heard of it. Pokemon? sheshhh haha. I remember garbage pale kids trading cards in the 80's. Now were all about crypto! 🤣

Cool, I used to have tons of Yu gi Oh cards. I move out so I leave it all to my nephew, actually is a fortune hope he take care of those. I can tell people like us can have a brigth future ahead.

I first started collecting limited-edition coins. I have some old local currencies and them special edition coins that have limited supply and will keep it too for the rest of my life. Baseball is not popular in my country, but if it was, I will surely collect some when I see some of these! Good way to make quick buck is collecting old gems like these!
That’s awesome, I did some coin collecting myself. These cards use to be hundreds of dollars each but are worthless today lol
My first investment was in toys from KinderSurprise eggs :)) I don't really think that they help in any way until now but... you never know! Nice post man, you get my upvote!
That’s funny! I knew one of my friends in the 80’s was a pogs collector and he’s an investor today from those lol

Wow, good investor you are at early age in stackin up old sports cards.
I started collecting stamps and coins at age 11 and hung on to them til around 20 years old then slowly lost them as i moved around so many times and I do not have any left...lol
You too! I got into stamp collecting also for about a year when I was 12 but it got boring to me and stuck with trading cards 😂
My first investment was buying shares from a company, although the stock exchange business of share buying is really slow and may not survive due to poor economy and economy decision.

Apppppreshhhh Bossman! Same here, I got into stock trading in 1995 at age 18 when I was able to open a trading account online. I didn’t know what I was doing and lost my ass off haha... great learning lessons 😀
I bought my very first stock when I was 17 years old I had to Lie to open up a stock brokerage account and tell them I was 18 years old.
Yeah, I had to wait and open an online Ameritrade account, the good old days lol. My first stock was MCI worldcom and we all know what happen to that. Bankrupt haha
Oh man you had to take me down memory lane and regret selling off some of my Jordans.

My first investment was in share stocks, but I only make sure that I buy only banks shares because they always pay me dividend every year, at times twice a year. I believe in buying and holding profitable stocks that has long term value @stackin
I use to be a stock guy but since 2008 financial crises, I was out. I Learned that investing in oneself and his or her own business is the way to go. However, stocks still are good but cryptos are better lol :)
Those memories cant be forgotten, investment is the key to success this current days we find ourself and also we are opened to many opportunities. Show me some love am new on steemit

In my country baseball is an enjoyment but we don't have collections of cards for collection, rather I will tell you that I have collected coins since I was a little girl, I will leave them to my grandchildren hahaha.
Still have my Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh cards...will HODL them forever

My first investment is steem and it has done something for me, i have manage to make $4.300, it not a big money but im happy with the progress

These cards are really awesome and it's great to hear your entrepreneurial journey through these cards but i don't have something great to say but i will let you know how i joined the Steemit, actually my family were facing some really depressive time and i was stucked in my corporate job and literally i was not able to give my time to my parents when they need me, after that, one day I've decided, around year back to leave this job and decided to do some kind of Work From Home job so that i can take care of my parents and also i can manage my job, but initial six months was real tough time for me but I've never given up and one day, around in the month of October 2017 I've found this Platform after I've deep dived in Internet research for Work From Home job. From till that day i am working hard and restless and without missing an single day. Now i am proud of my self because i am full time Steemian and original content creator. I had Magics' card for sure ! In France it was a revolution and I still hold them as a treasure
I remember I use to have Magic’s rookie card, it was with Larry bird 😂
I was a baseball and basketball card collector too haha still got mine as well as Olivia Art Cards, Serial Killer Cards and Garbage Pail Kids lol
