방학을 맞아 아이들이 처가에 다녀오게 되었습니다. 집이 너무 조용해서 어색할 정도인데, 이 귀한 시간을 그냥 흘려보낼 수 없어서 대청소를 결심했습니다. 아이들이 집에 있을 때는 도저히 엄두가 나지 않던 일이었거든요. 바닥에 물걸레를 질질 끌고 다니면 금방 발자국이 찍히고, 정리한 서랍은 순식간에 다시 어지러워지니까요. 오늘은 그런 걱정 없이 내 마음대로 구석구석 밀고 닦을 수 있는 날입니다.
