金银花性寒，味甘，入肺、心、胃经，具有清热解毒、抗炎、补虚疗风的功效，在中医学里常年都占有一席之地。
根据史料记载，早在三千年前，我国古人就已经开始用金银花治疗疾病。在古书《名医别录》中直接将其列为上品，足以看出金银花的重要性。
正因为金银花的特性，它很适合炎炎夏日，酷暑燥热的天气食用。
夏天的时候，户外天气炎热，尤其在三伏天那段时间，热的都会让人喘不过起来，金银花在这时候绝对是最佳的降暑佳品。于是，家里的夏天总少不了金银花的身影。
野生金银花在我家附近并不罕见，舅公把开满了金银花树砍下来，我和奶奶和舅婆，三个人就采摘了起了。不一会儿就装满了一大袋，等中午就可以在热辣辣的太阳底下晒起来了！
