The Minnow Power-Up League was created to encourage members of the community to invest STEEM and hold Steem Power. Holding Steem Power long-term is an excellent way to grow an individual account, and bring stability and growth to the price of STEEM.
We now have 159 minnows that are growing and tracking their progress on the road to dolphin-hood. We also have 45 graduates. Together, last week the league members have powered up a total of 10,025.603 Steem Power. All participants since joining have powered up a massive 348,040.278SP. The Minnow Power-up League
Every Thursday we will be using SteemSQL database managed by @arcange to gather details on the Owned SP for each person that has entered the league. The current weekly owned SP will be compared to the SP held last week. The person with the highest SP growth for the current week will be on top of the leader board.
There are 4 levels depending on your SP levels. Once you graduate from one, you will be automatically placed on the next. When you graduate from the 4th you will be placed on the Minnow Wall of Fame. As this post could get rather long with the 4 levels, as we grow, we may consider splitting this into different posts on different days.
Level 1

Level 2
There are now 6 active participants on level 2, and this weeks winner is @erikklok with an amazing SP growth of 304.422 this week.

Level 3

Great week for powering up. Always on the look out for my fellow PIFC community members, very nice to see @viking-ventures make it Level 2. She works very consistently and steadily, week in and week out. And @chekohler, after 45 weeks of hard work invested, close to making it to Level 4!
One SBI share registered for this week’s power up“champ” - @contrabourdon. Two whole weeks in MPL and on the Wall of Fame! No messing around … 😉 I also decided to register one SBI share to the largest power up still working towards dolphinhood - @for91days. He will hopefully be in the “Land of the Dolphins” in the very near future.
Congratulations to @fullcoverbetting, @veryspider, and @steemflow for their graduation. Each with 45 weeks (all starting on Sept 13th) of steady effort and now over the line. Great job!

Thanks for my prize, pretty sure I'll hit league 4 by next week and then it's home stretch to dolphin hood. there's only room for around 70k dolphin level accounts at current circulation and with orcas and whales that makes it even less and I intend to be one of them

Interesting. With prices back down I was hoping to see a few more people taking advantage in a big way. Maybe everyone is tapped out already. I am probably for a few more months myself.
Regardless any growth at present is a reason for celebration, so congratulations to everyone on the list for any amount of powering up.

Slowly, inch by inch, steem by steem, slowly he crept up the hill. Will he reach the top? Will he slide back down into oblivion, is the top of the first swell to far to climb? Will he run out of energy halfway there? Time, it will tell, it always tells all. No secret can hide from time. All things good and bad end in time. I am anticipating a slow growth week this week. LoL. Still the climb does continue.
No sliding, except on water-slides or sledges :)
