Competition

I love photography and I can look at nice images all day and all the time. Off course I'm also on instagram, you can find me there by clicking on my name venividipixi. I figured that’s a nice play at the platform and my hobby of enjoying history.

I’m here to make new friends and help each other grow and make this social media platform stronger. For this reason I am starting a monthly competition. Today’s question is simple: show me your best picture!

Rules

1. Like and resteem this ‘explanatory competition post’
2. Follow me here on steem
3. Create a post with your favourite picture, mention where and when it was taken, is there a story attached to the picture and why is this your favourite
4. Mention my competition in your post, either by name or a link to this post will do, in the end it's ll about spreading the love/network of friends
5. I don’t care about colours, continents, weekdays, etc just keep it family friendly and let’s grow together

Example post

This picture has a lot of emotions attached to it and that is probably why it is one of my all-time favourite pictures. One of the reasons is that it was taken on our honeymoon in 2013 to South-Africa at the Londolozi Game Reserve and besides all the memories it brings back of the amazing holiday it was also the first time we saw a leopard in nature. In this picture the leopard is hunting a group of impala and I love the way he blends in with nature. The colors are also fantastic and help bring back the memories of the moment when we were observing this fantastic leopard.

Prizes

To motivate you to make the effort of doing everything I am asking for, I am putting a prize attached to this competition. The winner receives 20 SBD, the runner up 10 SBD and the third place receives 5 SBD. The winners will also be mentioned in my winners-post and be encouraged to receive upvotes from me. Each participant will also receive a 100% upvote from me, this is also why I need you to link/mention me. My upvote is currently worth approximately $0,30 and I will also follow you! Beware that I might use your picture/link in my winners post.

Choosing a winner

The winning picture is chosen based on my personal choice and can be totally biased based on my own preferences and mood (as I’m giving away my own SBD, I do believe that’s my prerogative).

The competition runs until the payout of this post comes, so 1 week from posting and the winner is announced at the latest a day later with your winnings in your wallet ASAP.

On a final note, I will give each participant feedback by reply on your post if one or more requirements is missing. That way everyone has a fair chance to win.

This is our village shepherd and whenever we go for climbing he makes tea for us and trust me he is good at it. I have experience that whatever you on outing in such places is much tastier than pizza and other good food.

Thanks bud! I figured now that 50 runs is coming to a close I want to do something to help the people and build the community.

I'm currently also thinking of ways to continue the challenge to keep people motivated. You motivated me to stay fit during the winter and I will report about it in my 50^th run, but now I want to help motivate more people to move and grow (healty) together in this network.
