Time For Your Weekly Dose Of Heart Felt Thankfulness
Welcome to the Thank You Economy, a fun and engaging project where we try to promote a sense of thankfulness. I really enjoy hosting the contest as I meet new people and awesome communities every week.
In last weeks contest we gave away 7 shares of SBI it was a bit light on participation so I decided to give everyone a SBI share....
I just want to Thank Everyone again who has been participating, and resteeming the posts.
What is The Thank You Economy contest all about?(simplified version)
An Attitude of Gratitude - The Thank You Economy is simply a way to say thank you to someone who has helped you, influenced you or blessed you in some way in the Steem community. It can be tough getting started on Steemit, and the people who have been here for a while realize that. I could see community members helping out everywhere but what can new people do to show appreciation back? Not much....
That's where the idea for the Thank You Economy contest arose, I wanted to do more to say thank you.
Maybe I can do more. I thought there might be others who wanted to do the same, not to mention it's fun.
Just saying thank you to someone opens up all kinds of opportunities to interact with each other. YOU CAN THANK ANYONE YOU WOULD LIKE....

The Base Contest - We'll keep this simple.
- Leave a comment on this post.
- In the comment tag someone who has helped you or influenced you on Steemit use the @coinsandchains format.
- Then briefly tell us why you chose them.
That's all you have to do. (upvotes, restreems and follows are appreciated though)
One thing, please do not tag bots or alt accounts.

I will pull winners on day 6 or 7 of the post....
- 1 commenters will be randomly selected by the amazing prize wheel I found. The account making the comment and the account tagged in the comment will receive one SBI share each (2 total shares).
- Most awesome or heartfelt entry - 1 commenter and their nominee will receive one SBI share each (2 total shares), this will be selected either by a guest judge or myself.
- I will also give an upvote to each valid entry, but that does not amount to much. Upvote your own comment if you would like, or if you have a @dustsweeper account it might help.

This week I am thanking @iamjadeline for her never ending help to me with steem and in reality here in Kuala Lumpur. It is not easy to be a stranger in an strange land and I am very fortunate to get so much assistance.

@socalsteemit is a pretty awesome group I know of a couple awesome people in there.
I only travel - I don't have a home beyond the general place of "earth". But I meet wonderful people wherever I go :)

I would like to thank @liuzhixiang created a chrome plugin which allow steem users from mainland China to access busy, steempeak, and some other dapps.
It was a tough week for steem users from mainland China, since steemit.com and api.steemit.com both got blocked.
@liuzhixiang quickly made a chrome plugin which can change the steem node, and bypass the China firewall blocking.
Appreciate what @liuzhixiang has done to CN community.
Team-CN is back and kicking butt. That sounds like an awesome plugin, I just hope @liuzhixiang is careful.... but where there is a will there is a way...

Busy.org and steemconnect changed the node, so there isn’t issue to access steem now

Hi, so many have been helpful here. I have a list, but I will name the person responsible for my first curie: @veckinon. I was such a newbie, with no Rep and no SP. He said he became a curator so he could sponsor me. I think that one event anchored me in Steemit.
@asapers (@insideoutlet & @shai-hulud #asapers) was also very helpful. They come out of nowhere and help people. It was, is, such a nice community. In the last year I've discovered others that are helpful and fair:

I'd like to thank @charisma777 for being one of the most awesome people I've met on steem and just in life in general.
She has been a major part of the IFC contest I came up with the idea for and even more than that she's just become a great friend who has been there for me if I ever need to talk and has offered a lot of helpful thoughts.
She's never asked for anything in return for all the help she has given and I wish I could give her more than I have in return. Hopefully some day I can. :)
There's been some other cool people I've met during my time here, though there's no one else I can think of who has made as much of an impact on me as her. Thank you charisma for being such a meaningful person in my life! <3 I wish and hope for the best for you always.
@apolymask, I love coming back to steemit after a brief break and seeing such an excellent comment about myself. I have to say, since the night I found your page saying you were starting the IFC contest I knew right then I had to jump on board! It was almost like life was going down a dark path for me, and I found something that might bring me out of that darkness! Each week I wanted to learn something new, whether it was from the topic at hand or to make my posts look a bit neater. You started a fire inside me @apolymask, and that fire is to continue to learn no matter how much I think I know, there is always something that is to be discovered.
I appreciate your kindness, and maybe just maybe we met here for both of us to realize the world isn't all darkness and despair, there are still some wonderfully talented amazing individuals out there, and your contest has a way of bringing all types of personalities to the forefront! I am forever grateful to you for showing me that life didn't end when all the circumstances happened; it actually may have just begun! So thank you again for being such an amazing and humble person, I know you may not see it through your mask, but I think I can see and I know there are many others who see what a kind and gentle spirit you are!

That's awesome, I'm hoping to graduate from the community some day.... I've just got to get a lot more active on here. Paulag and Abh are both awesome and really focused on the steem community I think their witness account is really a reflection of them both.
One of the people that has influenced me on STEEM is @aggroed. He held a contest to attend @steemfest 2 a couple years ago, I entered and made it to the final rounds. Eventually I went to STEEMFest and met some awesome people and dove even further into the rabbit hole of this network. If it wasn’t for @aggroed’s contest, I’m not sure if I would have made it to Lisbon!
