The Titanic is Sinking: "Only the penitent man shall pass."

Much like the Titanic, the economy is doomed.

This great lumbering beast has sustained too much damage from the iceberg (greed).

It's only a matter of time before all the occupants without a lifeboat freeze to death in the icy waters below.

This was the thing that bothered me the most about the situation:

The Titanic panic!

So much shit floats on that boat. Bookshelves, bed frames, chairs... You all know exactly what is going to happen and you have HOURS to prepare. 2 hours and 40 minutes to be exact.

Why weren't people creating makeshift lifeboats and trying to survive? Why were they just running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It's so aggravating to watch.

An aside.

This movie came out when I was in high school. I didn't see it for many years after that. All the boys hated it and all the girls watched it twenty times in theater. Never understood why they swooned over Leonardo DiCaprio like he was the last man on Earth. Ah well, I get it now but back then I was absolutely clueless. Same goes for Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, although those made more sense to me at the time.

Regardless of my musings.

These people had all the time in the world to prepare for hardship, and they didn't. It's the exact situation we find ourselves in today. Crypto is our lifeboat.

Yeah, our lifeboat looks like shit...

But we are going to survive this disaster.
A lot of other people are not.

While everyone else was blissfully ignorant of the situation...

We took action and built something with the resources we had.

Meanwhile: The elite have an 'inspiring' message for us.

Couldn't help but chuckle at this. It is so nice to see people pointing out how ridiculous these celebrities are as they send out their propaganda on screen and convince the majority that they're doing the right thing by "saving lives".

Just like the Titanic, most of the rich people are going to make it out just fine without so much as a scratch. Sure, they may have to endure some psychological damage, but that's to be expected. You wanna make an omelette, you gotta break a few eggs, amirite?

essentialcovid.jpg

Let's not mix messages.

This COVID lockdown is a controlled demolition of the economy. The elite don't want the economy to implode, but if it's going to you can be damn sure they want to decide when and how.

This is only the first wave of three.

You heard me right!
There will be three waves of COVID,
just like the Spanish Flu.

How do I know?

Because Tom Hank's son Chet Hanks has a tattoo with 3 viruses on it.

Checkmate sheeple!
Score +1 for predictive-programming!

That's what you get for naming your kid Chet, dipshit!

JK bro I've seen Forest Gump like 20 times,
and everyone loves Cast Away because you get shit on the entire movie.

lambo.jpg

When Lambo?

I can't believe how often I hear this garbage.

YO! THE TITANIC IS SINKING!

You're about to die, and you're thinking about what car you're going to drive tomorrow?

WTF is wrong with you?

Call me crazy, but survival is a higher priority.

Only the penitent man shall pass

What do you think is going to happen if people are starving in the streets and you are driving around in a Lambo?

I'll give you a hint.

That's right, I'm talking full on French Revolution on your ass. My advice? Grow your own food. Buy solar panels. Plan a way to collect water and filter it if possible. Build a greenhouse. These are the things I would do if I had the resources. Back to the basics.

Sustainability

Food and water are like air.
It's not a big deal until you run out.

Conclusion

Imagine the 2.7 hours it took the titanic to sink would be 2.7 years for the legacy economy to sink. Help is coming in one hour (year) after that. Can you survive the icy waters that long, or will you perish from exposure to mother nature like so many others?

Haha nice post - so true!. Just one question, whats in your survival tool kit?

All I need is my trusty machete.

I disagree with sentiment that all will just blow-up to nothing. I rather see that,

first: inflation kicks in and people panic sell their assets to cover costs, causing a collapse in stock and crypto prices.

Secondly: the central banks will raise intrest rates to siphon money out of markets whilest governments raise taxes, causing companies and people to go bankrupt.

Thirdly: decades will be spent on slow growth and instability trough-out west.

From losers to victors:

Worst losers are going to be the ones running their fancy-lifes with debt.

Second worst losers are going to be the ones who have debt but no lifes.

Second best survivors are going to be the ones with no debt at all, but not much other wealth either

Best survivors are to be the ones with no debts and bunch of cash and other assets(like crypto) that are not tied to businesses that are heavily impacted by economy, and who are able to survive with their savings past the collapse and then purchase things.

It won't blow up into nothing.
There are still lifeboats and the icy waters of nature.

What will blow up into nothing are people's bank accounts and their ability to survive.

Amazon isn't going anywhere.
It's not a perfect metaphor.

Crazy, Tom hanks son looks like such a tool lol. They never seem to care they put the symbolism right in people’s faces.

Those yachts, ugh. What a bunch of scumbags! I get being successful, I don’t down some of them for doing that. Don’t flaunt it to rub it in people’s faces though, that’s what pisses me off. I know some people that are incredibly wealthy (not that level though) but are humble and chill.

Hopefully our plan works out for moving to somewhere less expensive, and preferably away from these nut jobs around here.

I'm 99% sure the yacht thing is satire.
If you read the article it's clearly fake.
That being said, I also had a knee-jerk reaction to it.

Lol I got triggered, damn. With the stupid shit they do lately it seemed legit. Damn hehe.

You hit upon something crucial. Food is going to be in short supply, something none of the celebrities you alluded to ever mention. Another shortage will be oil...yes oil. The glut will not last forever with the producers already dropping the rig count. That means we will have another shortage in a couple years which means higher prices.

Higher food and oil prices hit people in their pocketbooks, something that can only be solved by higher supplies.

The established system is breaking down. Actually it was before, that is why the need for the coronavirus hysteria. It is a great way to hide the fact that things were going bad for a long time. Europe is leading the charge to cover how misguided all their policies were.

Now they can nationalize a bunch of stuff to hide what is really taking place.

The same guy who shorted the housing market in 2008 in an unprecedented move is buying up water rights in the mountains. I should check up on that.

One of the scenes in the movie, "Titanic" was them making out in a car in the hold of the ship.
Did you see all of those crates?
Large slabs of wood nailed together?

Our heroin (who, if would have stayed on the damn lifeboat...) was saved by one piece of wood.
There was hundreds ready for use.

But, back to the non-analogy...

The "virus" is the least of our concerns.
Its not even the disruption of supply chains
It is actually that we are at the beginning of an ice age.

Soon there will be two seasons. Brutal summer and COLD winter.
You will grow food in a greenhouse, or you will starve.

No amount of gold will buy food.
It will become something like, is that office job you do really worth an hour of my time?

Those "elite" who think they will go to their fall out shelters and survive will find the world a very harsh place. This is not a time to hide away, this is a time to build a new boat, or maybe a flying saucer. Boats are so last century.

I for one welcome our Game of Thrones future.

Fire and Blood!

A Nakamoto always pays his debts.

What do you think could be a good lifeboat?

Sustainable living and Bitcoin.

how long is it going to be maintain before it finally sinks
nobody knows
