I just got the most genius idea in history of steem!
So the problem like it has been described many times is lack of community and curators with meaningfull rewards! No new curators can rise when all the big names are just giving encouraging 1% upvotes to comments! I have tried to work the different way, but I don't have too much sp and I will run out of power if I try to curate at the same time.
Idea that I introduced to a few people allready was that they also upvote comments of content that they upvoted. I have now figured to take this shit even further! I will no longer upvote any content, only comments! This is the most optimal way to build a community and meaningfull curators! I upvote comments from my videos (within certain limits off course) and I will also encourage everyone to upvote comments from my videos (instead of my videos). In addittion, I will try to look for gaming content mostly/only from D.tube and upvote commentors that I find. I am unemployed, so I have time, alltough I may keep fridays and saturdays off + days when I have run out of voting-power.
If you are oftenly finding your self with full voting-power, or simply feel like to support this attempt, delegate to me or start doing the same thing. This will benefit us all in the long run!
What I hope to achieve with this:
First goal is to get few people who sometimes curate gaming content to have meaningfull upvotes.
Is to have those first curators with meaningfull upvotes to curate content and/or comments so that people get encouraged and gaming community can then grow.
Third goal is to get enough curators with meaningfull upvotes so that the gaming category becomes attractive. At this point I hope that big players would recocnize the growth and start realizeing benefits of meaningfull upvotes to comments
Fourth goal is to eventually have several gamers making alot of money, making steem-based platforms as attractive youtube alternative.
Is to have the community in place.
During this project there will be hits and misses in this curator creation (upvotes to people who cash out/abandom steem or spam), but all hits will eventually bring in profit!
What do you say?
You can delegate from here: https://helloacm.com/tools/steemit/sp-delegate-form/
Here is a link how delegation works: https://steemit.com/steemit/@financialcritic/the-reality-of-steem-delegation
You don't loose any steem when delegating, you only lend some power from which you will earn curation rewards!

Once again, this is a good idea. You mentioned upvoting the comments before, and I'm all for upvoting good threads as well whenever I can. I'm trying to build some more steem power as what I have currently is ridiculous, and I'm crossing my fingers that bitcoin goes up and takes SBD with it, so I can power up conveniently - I missed the December craze as I was new here and unaware of all these fluctuations, how I regret it :(
Anyway, I'm not too optimistic, as this will take a loooong time to get other people to meaningful places, but I'm betting on Steemit in the long run, so... :)
Yes nowaday is much harder when SBD it's just a little above 2 $ usd VS december 4-7 $. And when it drop people tends to leave steeemit etc but this is a mistake, even in a hard time you are still gain something + get more viewers.
I agree. I will say that it's a bit discouraging to see it drop so much, but we have to believe it's a phase and things will pick up sooner or later. It just takes the right mindset and some hard work and things will eventually grow as expected.
On the other hand, with so many people investing huge amounts of money on Steem, how can this not be a thing for the future? It's not like there isn't any interest in Steem and Steemit, unlike tons of other virtual currencies that have nothing going for them.
I got bad feeling somethimes like just 10-20 % ppl here will accualy earn something. Many strong account vote for themself or gave vote for some donate like many boots out there. And they just simply don't care about other account or growing steemit bigger
You're exaggerating the %, in my opinion :) My idea is that only 5% or so will have some actual, organic earning, without boosting their accounts with real money on Steem (which I'm perfectly fine, by the way, wish I could do so as well).
But I have to look at Steemit as a thing for 5, 10 years. Maybe it keeps growing, and maybe our voting power will increase through our hard work, and things will get better. If I had TONS of voting power like a few others do, what would prevent me from helping out good creators? Don't we earn some of it back anyway, isn't it a win/win situation?
Sadly, I'm even more worried with the amount of crazy spam that is hitting Steemit, with posts without any kind of content and people with dozens of accounts voting themselves. It's shady and unfair.
totally agree. the only way here to grow is the upvote comments and Reply comments on the platform. and like u are saying if pepol get and upvote the are comming back. I have nothing more to delegate since I already do it.
You could still upvote this thread just for it's visibility.
out of power atm. :(
:(
I will looking for gaming stuff on Dtube to upvote because this is a bit "frozen"and it's hard to crush the wall with like 0.002 vote power, now after your delegation i can be more efficiency and give a help to "weaker" accounts and starting guys outthere
That is a great idea! I wont cancel my delegation if you keep doing that.
I upvoted this thread for it's visibility. I will follow what I said in this thread still. Not a scam.
I think as soon as services like Dlive get bigger and more refined, hopefully people from major platforms like Twitch will switch over!
