I've had a day to think about this well, and I do have some points I would like to share. To begin, I would like to express a deep gratitude for making this tool. Anything that brings more transparency is always welcome.
Its well built, easy to understand, and although I understand some of the feedback expressed here, all I see is more room for improvement, nothing more.
With all that said, I feel like the strategy may have backfired a bit, and I say this with a heavy heart.
This tool and by proxy this post, is trying to shed light on a real problem we have on Hive, which is the uncontrollability (is that a word?) of Hive's inflation. Nobody who operates in honesty can refute this. We have a "printer" problem, and we need to take actions. But, requesting funding fogged up the glass a bit.
I think most of us are of the mindset, at least these days, that unless proposals have a clear stated plan on what funds are being used for, then they don't pass muster.
Again, I say this not to detract value to what you built, the opposite is true. Because this is so valuable, I'm saying as much.
In my opinion, if you update this proposal and state clearly what the funds will be used for, that would- not only improve optics, but also give all of us stake holders a clear path to a decision.
Again, thank you for making this.
