I am soooo excited because my sister @maryjaney let me know that she is able to attend the Steem Creators Conference in Toronto and we actually bought your tickets TONIGHT!!
We literally make the best travel buddies and I'm so excited to have her join me on this adventure. Mary was literally the life of the party (seriously... she won an award) at the Vegas conference. I have no doubt that fun and crazy shenanigans will ensue with this girl around!
Ps... Toronto natives (@dnews, @jaybird, @par-ee) let us know if you have any tips for cheap accommodations in the Toronto area ... hotels and even hostels are heellla spendy. Let us know if you have any tips or know anyone with a spare room!
We seriously can't wait to reconnect with everyone again and make some new friends! I have a feeling karaoke may be in our future. I'll have to start thinking of a good karaoke song! I think Mary may need to re-live "Sex on Fire" because she nailed that so beautifully in Vegas.
We are stoked that the #goldmoney headquarters are located right there in Toronto. We are scheming up some fun collab content to do while we are there. (and sporting our "S" charms of course) Compliments of @goldmatters!

aww it is so sweet of you to notice that!! Funny that you call it a birthday because that is totally how i'm thinking of it!! I think it sounds cuter than a "Steemit Anniversary"... I don't know - it seems more fun!
You wanna know something funny? The speech you see in that video was only 3 months ago! Crazy how much things can change in such a short period of time. :) The conference in Vegas happened in April and was the first one. The Toronto conference will be the second and they are planning to continue having them in cool spots all over. :)

Birthdays are always more fun! I started in January this year, and it was a lot of fun. Crazy how time can go by so fast! Judging by the quality of your content it looks like you've been doing this stuff for much longer!
Only 3 months, wow! You are also presenting in Toronto, right? Do you already know what you will be talking about?
By the way, I won't be joining SteemFest in Poland. Work-related calendar conflicts. It's sad because I have the funny feeling that the next one won't be so "close by".
Haha thats great , I am so happy for you guys! I live way far from there on the west coast in British Columbia Canada, and believe it or not its generally more expensive to fly here in Canada then to go anywhere else in the world ! lol its crazy ! You girls have a great trip and time at the Conference! 💁💕

Hahha I wish I could fly like that too! Believe it or not... we are actually flying out of Vancouver! We live about an hour south in Bellingham. It was actually cheaper for us to drive across the border and fly from there.
It was really awesome too because there were direct flights from Vancouver to Toronto - so the travel will be pretty quick and easy.
Haha it's crazy isn't it! Lol! And that's a first, it always costs way more for me to fly to like Montreal then anywhere else in the world lol. Hope you guys find some accomadations for a good price I lived not to far from Toronto years ago and I know how expensive it is. Same like here in B.C very expensive! Good luck😊

aww I wish!! It would be sooo amazing to have her join. The time off work/money is a struggle right now - but you never know. It's still a few months away. I didn't think Mary was going to be able to make Toronto and here we are. :)
That's so cool. I haven't been to Toronto that often, just a few times in my life. I've taken the train there, since it's about 6 hours away, something like that. I went to see The Offspring live in Toronto once. Good times.
Ooooh cool! I bet that was an awesome concert. I have only been to Toronto once and it was when I was a kid. I remember going to Niagara falls and going up the CN tower - but I don't remember much else. :)
Cool that you can get there so easily by train. It looks like a cool city. :)
It's all right. I'm not big on cities per se. It's bigger than Montreal, I think, but smaller than New York. I was in New York once and I hated it lol It stank. Toronto has some nice districts to it. In Ontario, the time bars stop serving alcohol is 2:00 AM and here in Quebec it's 3:00 AM, so when I was there last time, I forgot this and was shocked that I couldn't get more drinks in past 2:00. The lady said: "Sorry, we stopped serving alcohol." And I was like "But it's only 2:00!" :p
