There are severals ways to open a new Steem account. You can use, AnonSteem or Steem Account Creator or Busy SteemConnect!
Use this this option if you want to create a second account or create an account for someone you know (friends, family, loved one, or a even for your own utilisation etc.).
But remember that you will have to pay for the account creation fees. So you will not be able to use this service only if you already have a Steem account.

Useful information on how you can create another STEEM account beside the one you already have. On the other side I would wait for the new fork to be available as a new feature would be to make the STEEM account creation more easily with BURNING the initial STEEM (to avoid fake accounts), but to have it done almost instantly.

Je cherchais justement ce matin à savoir si ouvrir un second compte était plus logique si on voulait parler de sujets différents sans trop polluer le premier compte ou si n'avoir qu'un compte un peu plus rempli était la meilleure des solutions.
J'ai lu ton article ainsi que le tutoriel qui y est lié mais je réalise que je ne comprends pas encore très bien la différence entre ouvrir un nouveau compte Steemit comme j'avais ouvert le premier et ouvrir un nouveau compte via une application qui rend ce service payant.

alors... ca dépend vraiment... C'est trop galère de gérer plusieurs comptes. Tu sais, moi j'en ai deux et je galère à publier sur l'autre alors que c'était mon premier compte (pour participer aux concours photos/ et publier tout ce qui est en lien avec Taty Money).
Mais au final, je galère tellement avec un seul compte que je me demande si ça sert vraiment à qq chose de diversifier (à la base le compte @roxane ne devait servir QUE à tout ce qui est éducatif).
Franchement... ca dépend vraiment de toi. Mais pour avoir essayé, je trouve ca super galère...
Nombreux sont ceux qui ont un compte : " normal " et un compte " court " l'un pour publier leurs articles et l'autre pour des photos par exemple.
Pour ouvrir un compte, le premier est payé par Steemit Inc. Le second est à tes frais... (puisque lié à un numéro de tel / adresse email).

J'avoue que me connaissant gérer plusieurs comptes sera vraiment une complexité alternative mais pour le coup, j'aime tellement steemit et sa communauté que je n'ai pas non plus envie de "polluer" mon compte francophone avec de l'anglais ou comme tu le précises de remplir de photos un compte à la base plus littéraire.
Pourtant je suis assez fan de photographie ayant reçu pour Noël un nouvel objectif !
Et j'aimerais en suivant tes bonnes résolutions, commencer à écrire en anglais surtout pour développer une partie plus "casual" n'utilisant finalement l'anglais que dans le monde du business (ou lectures).
De ton point de vue, avoir un seul compte avec un mix français/anglais, textes/images resterait pas trop brouillon pour les followers ?
J'ai décidé de prendre mon mois de janvier pour optimiser tous mes flux d'écritures et de publications. De regarder ce que j'ai envie de continuer, ce que j'ai envie de changer et ce que j'ai envie d'arrêter.
J'en parlais sur mon poste de bonnes résolutions mais il est clair que 2018 sera une année sous le thème de "mettre de l'ordre" pour se construire une vie plus saine et plus belle !
Si tu veux mon avis (Roxane aura peut-être pas le même) je trouve qu'avoir plusieur comptes perso est complexe a gérer. Ca poserait moins de soucis si l'interface des applications permettait de passer d'une compte à l'autre en 1 clic...
La où je trouve cela fort utile par contre c'est pour mettre en place des projets avec plusieurs personnes. Si on prends mon cas ce sont les comptes comme @comprendre-steem @steemitworldmap mais on peut parler de @dtube ou @steemitblog également.
En effet, c'est peut-être parce que je vois aussi trop Steemit comme un blog à sujet unique qui doit n'avoir qu'un public bien défini alors finalement je retrouve pas mal d'utilisateurs qui varient leurs sujets au fil des jours et je me dis que c'est pas plus mal. Ca permet de nous ouvrir à d'autres horizons :o)

Well, you could do that for a lot of situations actually. If you want to separate your subjects into blogs (one for gaming and one for science for example). If you want to have a separate account for DTube, Utopian, DLive, DSound, etc... If you want to have a blog in english and the other one in your mother tongue. Those are the use cases I can think of on the spot, more probably exist though.
I have currently 3 accounts : this one for blogging, one for testing interactions with the Steem blockchain and one for my Steem related project (which hasn't been used yet, just wanted to reserve the name).

I have posted on the subject of multiple accounts as well. There are many valid reasons why someone might need a test account, or alternate account. Or sometimes it's hard to get a first account!
But it's sometimes seen as a taboo subject as well because many people use multiple accounts to defraud the reward pool...
