This question is latent in our life, since long before we are fully conscious of our actions, since we are children it begins to indicate us what to do and what not to do, what is the best and what not, our life will pass in this dichotomy, which I dare to affirm will be present in our mind until the last day of our existence. Without falling into philosophical and moral precepts, being more practical and considering the amount of problems that overwhelm us today, I adjust to answer what I consider the best action to some common problems of humanity, by the way when I read the post about the question of the week came to my memory a Bible verse from the book of the apostle James, much quoted by the Christian religion "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead. Definitely we must act, but what is the best way?

¿CUAL ES LA MEJOR CLASE DE ACCIÓN?

Saludos amigos de ecoTrain, como de costumbre la pregunta de la semana abre un camino de variadas y complejas opciones para responder, ¿Cuál es la mejor clase de acción? Esta pregunta esta latente en nuestra vida, desde mucho antes de estar plenamente conciente de nuestras acciones, desde niños nos comienza a indicar que hacer y que no hacer, que es lo mejor y que no, nuestra vida transcurrirá en esta dicotomía, que me atrevo a afirmar estará presente en nuestra mente hasta el último día de nuestra existencia. Sin caer en preceptos filosófico y morales, siendo mas prácticos y considerando la cantidad de problemas que nos agobian en la actualidad, me ajusto a responder cual considero yo la mejor acción ante algunos problemas comunes de la humanidad, por cierto cuando leí el post sobre la pregunta de la semana vino a mi memoria un versículo bíblico del libro del apóstol Santiago, muy citado por la religión cristiana “ Porque como el cuerpo sin el espíritu está muerto, así también la fe sin obras es muerta¨. Definitivamente hay que actuar, pero ¿Cuál es la mejor manera?

One of the things I have learned in my life is that there is a tendency to make diagnoses, many studies to determine causes, many investigations, which of course are necessary to develop a plan to organize, coordinate and execute actions, but I say this taking as an example my work and life experience and situations in my country, that many actions did not give the expected results, some because they lacked a good diagnosis and others because more importance was given to the diagnosis than to the problem to be solved and not having acted in time.

Una de las cosas que he aprendido en mi vida, es que hay una tendencia a hacer diagnósticos, muchos estudios para determinar causas, muchas investigaciones, que por supuesto son necesarios para elaborar un plan que permita organizar, coordinar y ejecutar acciones, pero lo digo tomando como ejemplo mi experiencia laboral, de vida y situaciones de mi país, que muchas acciones no dieron los resultados que se esperaban algunos por carecer de un buen diagnóstico y otras porque se dio más importancia al diagnostico que al propio problema que se tenía que resolver y no haber accionado a tiempo.

There are problems of various kinds that if not addressed threaten the survival of humanity, there are many global actions that are performed every day to draw attention and raise awareness about the importance of generating a change in the model of economic, political, technological and social development that prevails on the planet and that has generated the current situation, those actions that for some are irrelevant, generate results and contribute. I have participated in some ecological marches and therefore I do not question them because I share their concerns and philosophy, but over the years I have learned and I have convinced myself that the best way, the best action is the one I can do with my own effort to change my environment, of course it is necessary that the big decisions and actions are taken by those who run the planet to solve global problems, but while this does not happen, what can I do to help change the situation? Because although the problems are global, as well as every human being is affected, each one can initiate actions to help change the situation, if this happens I think we would advance and set an example to others who are not convinced that the best action, at least from my perspective is what I can do in my environment in my community.

Hay problemas de diversas índoles que si no se atienden amenazan la supervivencia de la humanidad, hay muchas acciones a nivel global que se realizan cada día para llamar la atención y crear conciencia sobre la importancia de generar un cambio en el modelo de desarrollo económico, político, tecnológico y social que impera en el planeta y que ha generado la situación actual, esas acciones que para algunos son irrelevantes, generan resultados y aportan. He participado en algunas marchas ecologistas y por lo tanto no los cuestiono porque comparto sus preocupaciones y filosofía, pero con los años he aprendido y me he convencido que las mejor manera, la mejor acción es la que puedo realizar yo con mi propio esfuerzo para cambia mi entorno, por supuesto que es necesario que las grandes decisiones y acciones sean tomadas por quienes dirigen el planeta para resolver los problemas globales, pero mientras esto no suceda ¿Qué puedo hacer yo para ayudar a cambia la situación? Porque aunque los problemas son globales, así como cada ser humanos es afectado, cada uno puede iniciar acciones para ayudar a cambia la situación, si esto sucede creo que avanzaríamos y daríamos el ejemplo a otros que no están convencidos que la mejor acción, al menos, desde mi perspectiva es la que yo puedo hacer en mi entorno en mi comunidad.

And things like these come to my mind: solve the problem of hunger for nearly 1.5 billion people, solve the problem of water pollution, minimize the emissions of gases that generate global warming, stop the desertification of land suitable for agriculture, stop deforestation and plant trees, promote inclusive health systems. I think of Biden, Putin, Xi Jimping, Merkel, Bolsonaro, Johnson and I will not name the more than 200 who lead the world, it is clear that they have to make their best actions to prevent the collapse of the planet and the extinction of life as we know it, but what is my best action to cooperate in the face of threats of which I can also be a victim, then I become more convinced and more motivated to plant trees, to produce in an agro-ecological way even if it's in a pot, to ration my water and reuse it, to not throw garbage away, to carry my own shopping bag to use less plastic, to ration electricity. Because definitely "Faith without work is dead" I do very little just knowing and talking without setting an example.

Y sigue rondando en mi cabeza ¿Cuál es la mejor acción? Y se me agolpan en la mente cosas como estas: resolver el problema del hambre de cerca mil quinientas millones de personas, resolver el problema de la contaminación de las aguas, reducir al mínimo las emisiones de gases que generan el calentamiento global, detener la desertificación de tierras aptas para la agricultura, detener la deforestación y sembrar árboles, impulsar sistemas de salud inclusivos. Pienso en Biden, Putin, Xi Jimping, Merkel, Bolsonaro, Jonson y no voy a nombrar los más de 200 que liderizan el mundo, esta claro ellos tiene que realizar sus mejores acciones para evitar que colapse el planeta y se extinga la vida como la conocemos, pero cual es mi mejor acción para cooperar ante las amenazas de las cuales yo también puedo ser victima, entonces me convenzo y me motivo más a sembrar árboles, a producir de manera agro-ecológica aunque sea en un matero, a racionar mi agua y reutilizarla, a no botar basura, a llevar mi propio bolso de compras para usar menos plástico, a racionar la electricidad. Porque definitivamente “La fe sin obra es muerta¨ hago muy poco sólo conociendo y hablando sin dar el ejemplo.
