Amongst a sea of red STEEM is in the green this morning.
And this is happening with all the current drama going on (although it seems to be calming down).
Funny how that works right!
You expect 15 cent STEEM and then it goes to 40 cents (or 11300 sats).
We are currently at #40 at Coinmarketcap too (from below 50 somewhere).
I always enjoy these moments in price (even though I know they can turn around even before I post this, it's ok.).
In general, I believe things are looking up anyway for us.
Unlike other crypto's drama/crisis on Steem usually triggers positive action.
I have seen it before.
I'm not 100% sure why that is. Maybe it's the social aspect and the fact that we can talk to each other on this chain that ultimately forces people to make it work.
And I always like to see people make it work. Although it takes a strong FUD stomach before we usually get there, lol.
Other positive news I saw this morning there seems to be a Steem Alliance forming:
"Yesterday @Ned put out a call for nominations to form a community foundation to help with the funding and development of The Steem Blockchain." Read more about it here.
I think it's a second layer between Steemit inc. and the Steem Community that will dedicate itself to help grow development on the Steem Blockchain through fundraising/donations.
It will be fun to see how that develops in the upcoming weeks too.

I was actually impressed with @ned's willingness to appease the community and help setup a Foundation. It will further the decentralization of the Steem blockchain without harming @steemit Inc. and founders like @ned.

Lets just hope the community foundation is allowed to do what is required. I hope you are somewhere near it or are on it.
This is why I like technical analysis. The news and price often move in opposite directions. All the information you need is in the price and volume chart.
None of the news as of late has stopped me from being able to engage and earn nor invest so maintaining my direction forward as I believe in the community in the end that make this worth it all.

The future looks bright. Drama is maybe here to wake us up a bit to start working efficiently for the good of this blockchain. It is amazing how people work together here. I'm enjoying this green and happy to be a part of something this big

Investors who are buying Steem right now probably feel reassured by Ned's appearance on SOS forum and aggroed's show. I would be.
I think you're right about that.
It's also true that Steem got oversold a bit and was somewhat due for a bounce, one way or another.
I have good hopes for Steem's future.

Just can’t believe steem is still only 40 on CMC . Would of thought the weaker projects would have been weeded out by now
Community is the key to STEEMs long term success and I totally agree that having a public record to discuss and debate is one of our greatest strengths.
I am pretty excited to see the positive gains in Steem recently, especially since everything else is staying pretty solid in the red. There are definitely going to be some cool things coming this year.
Even if we could not be sure what is the real reason behind of the price increasing , this is a magical move for all. And dear @exyle ; i want you to know that i follow you for a long time and your contents are mostly expanding my knowledge about steem/steemit/the community . So ; i do not hesitate to vote for @blockbrothers as a Witness.

One more week like this ... and we are back 0.85$ and we have soon also 1 $ one steem :) Cool .
And when this come end of this month then this year is tart very good.
Maybe Bitcoin will move lower and keep prices low so that I can continue to accumulate Steem.
