today I share a way to plant strawberries in a pot and here I use a bottle of used pot and in this way can also successfully remove the fruit
PLANTING STROWBEERY IN POLYBAG / POT
PREPARATION OF SEEDS
There are two ways to get strowberyy seeds, namely with seeds from the fruit or from the vegetative method, namely saplings and stolan or tendrils
PLANTING STROWBERRY
Prepare polybags or pots for soil media, and soil with mixed bokashi with a ratio of 2: 1, then stir until mixed and add Furadan 20 grams per polybag, then enter into polybags and do watering until evenly distributed, then planting strawberry seeds by sticking the seeds into the soil 3 cm deep.
To handle with seeds just make a small hole and put 4 seeds of strowberry into a hole and cover with thin soil
CARE PLANTS
Watering for new plants is done twice a day, morning and evening, not too much water can wilt later, and if it has grown watering is done once a day / 2 days,
Embroidery and thinning are done when plants have grown or have lived, by replacing them with healthy plants or thinning so that the growth is evenly distributed.
Fertilizing plants is done once a week at a rate of 20-25 grams / stem of fertilizer used is a type of NPK or manure / organic
Stolon strawberries and saplings begin to flower at 2 months of age from planting and preferably the initial flower is discarded so that growth is more vigorous, while for flowers that grow from the age of 4 months are thrown out. This process can last two years as long as the plant healthy strawberries and make sure the nutrients are enough
*Fruit characteristics that are ready for harvest
- The fruit is chewy / slightly tender
- The color of the fruit is dominated by red
- Fruit has been 2 weeks since flowering*
