Why do you refuse payment on content that you sell elsewhere?
Because I already received payment on steemit from an earlier version of this content. Including a few upvotes from @curie and @blocktrades that together made me more than Amazon, Smashwords and Play together are likely to ever add up to for this work.
Payments are restricted only for 6 days and 12 hours (or maybe 6 days and 18 hours).
Why not allow people whom did not upvote then for whatever reason the opportunity to upvote?
Sliding down here does not work anyway beyond a certain amount of posts.
And is the earlier version identical to the current one?
It is considered double spending of "proof of brain". There are bots and committees in place to deter us from reposting virtually the same content and getting paid twice for it.
The earlier versions were a version with typo's grammar errors and no or bad navigational controls in them to navigate between chapters, etc.
