Hi Friends!
Some of you remember waaaay back in the day when I ran a Money Saving Hacks series on my Dtube channel. I love talking about perosonal finance and often help my friends sort their finances or give them advice on buying decisions (by request I should note).
I think my passion for this subject stems from the fact that I grew up in a family that was terrible with money and let so much prosperity literally slip through their fingers - to only find themselves in a drowning amount of debt. Since a young age I was determined to create a different life for myself. Seeing the shackles that debt and poor financial chooses make on people literally fires me up to help them.
If you can't tell - this is a subject I've been thinking about more often lately, and so I decided to make this video talking about the difference between anti-consumerism and frugality and how both ideologies can be really beneficial in making decisions with your spending.
I hope you guys enjoy this video! I may re-start this personal finance series if there seems to be interest!

I remember your money hack series ! Lol back in the old days :). I also remember your cocktail making episode . So eclectic !
I spent a lot of time unemployed / poor, so it often meant that the things I wanted were often pushed to the backburner. Now I have an automated savings plan where small amounts of money get transferred to different bank accounts when I get paid.
I can also make small payments to my bill accounts so that when the bills come in, I am either ahead or don't have to pay much to them.

interesting, you had some good points, I am kind of like "Rambo" when it comes to consuming/surviving, but I also like to give and to party now and then, but there are ways of "hacking" the cost of partying for instance... https://steemit.com/mead/@friendly-fenix/viking-midwinter-mead-the-easy-way-home-brewing-tutorial
