For just wee little taste of the thousands of photos I took over the last month,
I now present:
The Feasts of SteemFest 2!
Day 1 @ Centro Cultural de Belem
A sweet spread set out to receive us, giving the Steemians a chance to nosh & network before a day of presentations.
It started with creamy & delicious pastels de nata
with other pastries,
coffee,
(lots of coffee,)
(lots & lots & lots of coffee,)
and nibbly little things.
Then after a morning of presentations, they served an abundant lunch!

Twas a lovely spread of all kinds of tasty treats!
I think these were octopus balls rolled in sesame seeds.
These little fried fish cakes were made with cod & mashed potatoes.
Cute little veggie wontons
Bite-sized egg frittatas with greens
And more fried meat options! These are crispy and I think made with pig. @juanmiguelsalas was stoked to see them; he said his grandmother used to make them :)
Ham & cheese sandwiches
Creamy apple salad
But the best part was the fresh fruit! This is pineapple.

Papaya
Juicy, bright, sweet, tart, fresh living FRUIT!
As you can see, food was plentiful and quite nice at SteemFest 2 - and this was only half of Day 1!
That feels like enough to digest, so I'll share more in a later post :)
For anyone who follows the @gardenofeden, you know that sharing food is one of our favorite things to do! It's profound to join in quality company while eating; the matter & energy we consume becomes our physical bodies. It's a meaningful social act to have a meal together, and I'm grateful to share the feasts with you here on the blockchain so even more people can enjoy.

Epic Feasting!
What a spread! Although it would be an honor to host SteemFest at the Garden of Eden (or Steem Castle!!!!) one day to give the Steemians a real taste of daily epic, sustainable, nutritious feasts :)
Yes one day I will have an epic sustainable venue big enough for SteemFest!

Ohhhhh soooooo much fooooood!!! This was really a classy event--something we will never want to forget---thanks for putting it on the block chain @saramiller. We certainly let the good times roll. And ohhhhh...the coffee!!!!
