We as human beings are facing many challenges, including mortality, racial division, reliance on technology, etc...
How can/will the future change us? What technologies are in the works, or exist already that are about to change our lives?
I have made many posts about Drones they are amazing technology they already are changing concepts of search and rescue, photography, and videography, and more.
Lets look into Technology today, and the future, and how it will change our lives as we know it on this planet, and beyond.
3D Printing Technology- We can make anything we can imagine, toys, parts, we can make ideas become reality right now today.
But what is coming in the future, 3d printable Food? 3d printable body Parts? The answer is YES that is exactly what is being worked on right now as you read this post.
But what else , Wearable electronics, from smart contacts, to smart glasses, to NFC technology to open doors etc. what does not already exist is being worked on right now. How about implants that read your vitals in real time 24/7 ? Implants that warn you of medical problems the moment they are detected in the body? We are talking about technology that can tell you, you are having a heart attack before your heart does...
People are even working on a SKIN that self repairs, and may even be able to stop projectiles, knives, etc
Look into MIT's second skin for instance.

How about the internet ? The CLOUD? What about the Human Brain Project -
They are attempting to basically download the human mind into a computer, replicated every single neuron, if this is successful what could this mean for us ?
Imagine everyone's mind uploaded into the Cloud! A Large Hive mind with all the knowledge of everyone on earth. What about robot bodies that can harness our consciousness? Would that not technically make us immortal. What happens if we not longer have the restraints of a mortal body? We would no longer have the restraints keeping the human body out of space for long periods of time. We would not die a natural death, we could always upload into a newer body as they come available.
This all sounds like science fiction, however it is very real, it is being worked out as you read this post.
Look at our homes, they are slowly becoming smart homes with digital assistants, lighting controlled by our voice, door locks controlled from our phones with digital keys with time limits etc.. This is only the beginning...
Virtual Reality - It might be in its infancy but if what I mentioned before happens and they do map the human mind into a computer, it is untelling what can happen, will there be a REAL matrix world?
If you have not noticed physical things are going away from CDs, DVD/Bluray, Gaming , everything is slowly transitioning into digital , digital games, digital music, digital movies, look at cryptocurrencies hmm... Digital money, it only makes since that eventually we will also shed our mortal bodies and become digital as well, immortal beings , living in the cloud perhaps???
This will all probably be much later in the future but what about right now today? Self Driving Cars, Hologram Technology, Augmented Reality, this all exists today !
They just released the fact we now have LASER WEAPONS ! Athena laser system is something like out of Star Wars, it can melt through a truck hood, and its engine from a mile away ! Built by Lockheed Martin. Look into it
What about our human bodies now while we wait on this future? Nanotech is coming microscopic machines injected into the blood stream, they can target and kill/cure disease, repair wounds, extend the human life 10s or 100s of years etc..
This is being worked on now, today, and great progress has, and is being made in this field.
We are trying to put Humans on MARS , populate , and terraform another planet! We are doing this now today, with plans to have a settlement on MARS by the 2030's!!! Elon Musk said he plans to land craft on Mars by 2022! Will we find intelligent life out there, undeniable proof of life besides us in the universe? Will we find someone was already on mars before, perhaps even humans? Who knows for sure but anything about the future, and what it might be like. Thank You for reading...

What if humans were meant to reproduce and evolve towards immortality? With the advancement in technology and a possible “upload” of our consciousness into machines I would very much think so. 🤔🤗

Very interesting read. Hmmm... I am not banking on uploading my thoughts to any cloud! Nanotechnology intrigues me.
Just 1 of many possible futures, I would say we will merge our bodies with our technology way before any total technological form will exist with our minds in them.

I love all your posts, you are one of the two people here I always check.
But this one. Incredible. Short, straight to the point, what’s happening and what might will happen. I’ve been interested of technology back in the past, a lot! Then I’ve met too much humans.
I must realise: we are not ready to handle all this. And I would love to know the answer : “When are we gonna be ready?”. Never say never.
All the ideas are amazing and could be very useful, expand our knowledge, also to give wonderful experiences, magic and save/make millions people’s life (easier), But so far… We know what’s happening.
Wish to live so long to see technological advancement on a X way. What would be the best word for X? Innocent? Correct? Not human? Affectionate? Pure-minded?
