Hello dear Steemians...
today I'd like to show you the first harvest from our garden this year.
We have some bad luck that few precious plants have not survived the winter this time despite being hardy,
so I rather suspect that the roots might got rotten or eaten by the larvs of certain bugs.
However the harvest of our Berries are getting better this time, even the cranberries have finally borne fruits. :)
Well... here we goes....
1. Our pineberry has obviously subdued our red strawberry this year. We didn't harvest much of the red one. And the size of the red ones is getting smaller too compare to the harvest from last year. It seems like they have pollinated each other, that's why their characteristic have changed.
2. Amelanchier or more popular with the name Juneberry. This fruits taste very sweet and aromatic. Our little Kobold likes it too, she wouldn't stop munching them if I let her. :-D Juneberry is very nutritious and beneficial for our body so I'm glad that we harvest rather a lot this year so that we need not to have a broken heart again caused by losing competition with the birds like last year. :-D
It contains very high amount of iron too, so it doesn't worry me that much that my princess has recently lost her appetite towards heavy meal like meat. No wonder, even the adults like me also have more interest in fruits compares to meat as well in this hot summer weather.

3. This time we have more cherries too, but still not enough to satisfy us yet. ^_^
4. Now come the currant families:
...the white currant.

... the red currant.
...and the blackcurrant. IMHO...the blackcurrant taste the best, sweet and very aromatic. The other two currants are quite sour, however our little Kobold loves them anyway LOL.
5. The last one for today are the rapsberry "folks" ^_^! ... the golden yellow raspberries.
Sometimes I'm rather not convinced to try unusual species of fruits because it's possible that they are genetically modified. However this yellow raspberry is all-natural.
They have been my favourite until this year among the raspberry family because they simply taste better compare to the red one.
... but this year our Tayberry finally bore fruits too. And they indeed taste wonderful, very sweet and they are not easily perished like the yellow raspberries, not so fragile.

... my little princess just couldn't wait to taste some berries.
Since we have plenty of berries so we can make another cocktail today.
Our little Kobold is really curious.
"What kind of drink is this, Mama... can I have some?"
"Hmmm... let me think... probably it's not yet a good idea to give you the drink, baby... but, you can have the fruits again of course!" ^_^

Sieht toll aus! Bei wächst aktuell auch Einiges im Garten, braucht aber alles noch ein wenig Zeit. Am meisten freue ich mich auf die leckeren Tomaten 😋
Ich auch... Ich habe viel Tomaten gepflanzt. Vielleicht kann ich in 2 Wochen schon Cherry-Tomaten ernten. Die andere Sorten kommen wohl noch etwas später.

Wow! Ihr habt so ausgefallene Sorten von Beeren! Von der pineberry habe ich schon gehört, aber die juneberry ist mir total neu! Und diese gelbe "Brombeere" sieht auch toll aus! Ich glaube, ich komme mal in euren Garten zum Naschen ... 😉😄
Gelbe Himbeeren sind das ^_^ . Wir würden sehr freuen, dich "Live" zu treffen... leider ist die Beeren-Zeit gleich vorbei. Es gibt bald nur noch die Heidelbeeren übrig, aber sie sind wohl in paar Tagen bestimmt auch wieder weg.
Wenn du bei uns sie naschen willst, musst du noch ein Jahr warten hahaha.

WOW! Apart from beautiful flowers, there are also wonderful fruits in your garden. Really great! They are in bright colors and all of them look yummy.
It’s good that your little princess loves these fruits and can eat them freshly directly from your garden. They have a lot of benefits and free from any chemicals indeed. These are good for her health, for sure.
In your last photo, it seems that your little princess was very interested in your fruit cocktail. The same as me, I like this, too. It’s very colorful and looks delicious.

Ha ha! I can imagine, it would be a lot of fun for her! If I am the same age as her, I would like to dip my finger in the bowl, too…. ;D

Oh ja, es ist doch das schönste, wenn man leckere Früchte aus dem eigenen Garten ernten kann. Und wir Erwachsenen erfreuen uns nicht nur an den köstlichen Beeren, sondern auch an strahlenden Kinderaugen. (bei mir sind es die Enkel).
Übrigens die Junibeere kenne und schätze ich ebenfalls sehr. Ich kenne die Pflanze bzw. diese Beeren unter dem deutschen Namen "Felsenbirne" (mit den Unterarten "kahle Felsenbirne" und "Kupferfelsenbirne".

Oh yes, it is the most beautiful, if you can harvest tasty fruits from your own garden. And we adults enjoy not only the delicious berries, but also the bright eyes of children. (with me it's the grandchildren).
By the way, I also know and appreciate the Juneberry very much. I know the plant or this berries under the German name "Felsenbirne" (literally: "rock pear").

Ja, das sind tatsächlich Felsenbirnen :). Sie schmecken sehr gut, ich möchte sie vermehren. Vielleicht kann man einen Ableger daraus machen.
Ja, das sollte mit Absenkern gelingen. Einfach einen bodennahen Trieb nach unten biegen und mit etwas Erde bedecken und die Stelle feucht halten. Nach einigen Monaten sollte der Absenker eigene Wurzeln gebildet haben.
Ich liebe Beeren! Wie herrlich muss es sein, sie nach Herzenslust direkt vom Strauch zu naschen :-)
Yup, exakt. Manchmal trage die Kleine auch auf der Hüfte und sie wird dann ganz glücklich selbst die Felsenbirne pflücken und genussvoll naschen.
Gelbe Brombeeren habe ich ja noch nie gesehen. Ich wußt gar nicht, daß es sie gibt. Wieder was gelernt....
Unten am Main sind hier bei uns viele wilde Brombeersträucher. Als meine Kinder noch so klein waren, daß ich sie im Kinderwagen kutschieren mußte, bin ich da immer mit ihnen hin zum naschen...
Ich gehe mal schwer davon aus, daß Eure kleine auch gerne beherzt zugreift, natürlich nur die frisch geflückten! ;-)
Gelbe Himbeeren sind das. Brombeeren sind Blackberry auf Englisch. :)
Aber stimmt, die gelbe Himbeeren ist eine natürliche Rarität.
Sie schmecken aromatischer und süßer als die Rote aber sie sind weicher. Es ist super, eigene Sträucher zu haben, weil wir sie dann nicht unbeding waschen müssen.
Die Kleine möchte immer selbst pflücken, aber ich lasse sie nicht alleine machen, denn sie haben ja Dorne :)

Also die gelbe Himbeere kannte ich auch nicht. Vielleicht bekomme ich ja mal irgendwo welche zu essen. Ich habe auch meine Frau gerade mal gefragt, ob sie schon mal welche gegessen hat. Aber das mußte sie ebenfalls verneinen. Scheint wirklich eine Rarität zu sein...
wow hab den Post eben erst gesehen. Das sieht a mega lecker aus. Ich vermisse die Zeit als wir ein haus hatten und auch alle möglichen Beeren im Garten. Wir hatten einen alten Zwetschgen Baum, ich habe es geleibt wenn meine Mutter Kuchen damit gemacht hat.
Tja... das ist tatsächlich ein Vorteil, eigenes Garten zu haben, wenn man ein Fruchtmonster wie ich (und mein Baby ist scheinbar genauso wie ich) :-D.
Ich bin kein besonders gute Bäcker, aber ich nasche immer gerne Fruchte. Es ist vielleicht auch gut, dass wir nur Sträucher haben und ansonsten nur Kirschbaum und Zwergapfel.
So würden wir nicht zu viel Früchte bekommen. ^_^
Gardening is an investment for life. It certainly feels very happy and proud if you managed to harvest although there are some results that are not too good.
Enjoy your gardening results. Hopefully next year the result is even better.

Hm, habe noch nie so gelbe Himbeeren probiert - aber leider auch noch nirgends zum Kaufen gesehen. Muss ich wohl mal züchten bei meinen Eltern im Garten :D
Die Sträucher vermehren sich bei uns ziemlich schnell ... also falls du jemals in der Nähe sein solltest und Lust auf gelbe Himbeeren hast, geben wir dir einfach einen Ableger mit. :)

Wah enaknya si Dedek kecil ya, banyak buah berry yg bisa di ngemil...
Oya mbak, penyebab tanaman berry ada yg mati, benar itu Krn akarnya layu membusuk. Biasanya kalium tanaman berkurang. Solusinya, bisa sebelum tanam lahan disterilkan dulu dgn dolomit. Sedangkan jika kondisi layu saat tanaman telah tumbuh, saya biasanya menggunakan sisa bubuk kopi Krn memiliki zat yg mampu memulihkan kondisi akar hitam membusuk.
Kondisi akar membusuk, bisa jadi Krn saat menambah kotoran hewan tanpa ada campuran . Campurannya dapat menggunakan sekam padi, serbuk kayu, atau tanah...

Cuma strawberry merah yang ngga bagus...soalnya kayanya kalah sama yang putih. Yang putih buahnya kecil, jadi tampilannya bagus yang merah :)
Panenan yg putih sih masih banyak, cuma ya itu...berbagi sama keong telanjang hehehe.

Frische Erdbeeren sind immer grossartig, na gut, alles frische Obst und Gemüse ist bei mir sehr hoch im Kurs.
@asperger-kids hahahha...das macht nicht. Man kann nicht immer rechtzeiting sehen, ohne Bot ist es fast unmöglich denke ich. Es gibt zu viele interessante Beiträge aber zu wenig Zeit um alle zu lesen :).

Delima juga antioksidannya banyak, cuma di Indonesia nggak gitu diperhatikan. Padahal disana bisa tumbuh dengan bagus. Disini delima mahal lho.

Sebenarnya saya menyukai semua jenis buah ini, tp sayangnya saya belum pernah mencicipinya mbak @kobold-djawa karena di daerah saya tidak ada tanaman ini. Sudah lama saya ingin mencicipinya dan belum ada kesempatan. mantap dah mbak panennya walaupun kurang maksimal 👍
Panenannya bagus kok, yang jelek cuma strawberry merah, karena kalah saing sama yang putih. Nanemnya disatu petak jd yang merah kayanya keturunannya bermutasi. Ngga jadi merah lagi, hampir semuanya jadi putih gitu lho maksud saya.
