According to the weather report, it is the end of the rainy season. There are downpours several times a day, every day, and the muddy rivers we can see from our house seem to be getting stronger by the day. The tomatoes are growing well. The zucca on the left, the grafted medium-sized tomato in the middle and the mini-tomato on the right are flowering well. I am wondering whether to hang plastic tape from the eaves or not, as all the supports are running out. When the weather improves I can work on them too.
気象情報では、梅雨末期だそうです。 毎日のように1日数回土砂降りがあり、我が家から見える河川の濁流は日に日に勢いが増しているようです。 トマト達は順調に生育しています。 左のズッカ、真ん中の接木中玉トマト、右のミニトマトも順調に花をつけています。 支柱がどれも足りなくなってきたので、軒からビニールテープを垂らすかどうしようか悩んでいます。 天候が回復すると作業もできるのですが。
I do cut large areas of the lawn for the inter-rain intervals. The image shows the area of Clapia k7 cut with a lawnmower.
雨間を狙って広い部分を整えたりはしています。 画像はクラピアｋ７のエリアの芝刈り機でカットしたafterです。
The angle of view is different, but before mowing, white flowers were all over the area.

6/18に種蒔きをしたケラトテカトリロバです。現在はこんな感じ。

I am a good sower, but the Candy Lanterns and Cleome have not sprouted yet, either because they are not ready yet or the temperature is too high. I take them to the shade. Butterfly peas have the worst germination rate! I sowed four in one pot, but they have not sprouted so much that it's laughable. I hope they will do well. The dahlia collarette blooms have germinated quite well. I am planning to break up the soil and divide them. I think I'll do it tomorrow in the shade of the garage.
種まきは得意なのですが、キャンディーランタンとクレオメはまだこれからなのか、それとも気温高すぎるのか。 日陰へ持って行きます。 バタフライピーは発芽率最悪！と聞いてポット1つに4つ蒔いたはずですが、笑っちゃうくらい出てません。 頑張りを期待したい所です。 ダリアのコラレット咲きは結構発芽してくれまして。 土をほぐして分けてみようかしらなどと企んでいます。 明日車庫の日陰でやろうかな。
In the garden, the purple smoke tree, cut down single trunk to the base, is growing nice and thick. It is green because the dahlias and summer flowers are not quite ready yet, but I am hoping the white liatris will stand up. The new sylphs are small, so it will be nice to see them grow bigger. The big thistle leaf behind Liatris is Acanthus spinosus. It was dying and has recovered so well, so I hope it will hold up this summer. Well, it is not well cared for! I would like to weed it out.
庭では根元まで単幹を切り倒したパープルスモークツリーがいい感じに茂っています。 ダリアや夏の花がまだまだなので緑が多いですが、白のリアトリスが立ってきて良いかなと。 ニューサイランが小さいので、大きく育つと嬉しいですね。 リアトリス後ろのアザミの大きな葉はアカンサススピノサス。枯れかかっていたのがここまで回復してくれたので今年の夏も持ちこたえてほしいもの。 まぁ、手入れが行き届いていません！ 草を取りたいですね。
Grass everywhere, but centred on Hosta halcyon with buds rising, New Sylan, winter sown Lavatera, Lysimachia fire for red leaves, palmate fireweed and mojito mint. 草だらけですが、蕾の上がっているホスタハルシオンを中心にニューサイラン、冬蒔きのラバテラ、赤葉はリシマキアファイヤー、掌のようなヒオウギ、モヒートミント。ミントとニューサイランの間の棒はバイカウツギベルエトワールの幹です。このブログを書いているのは2023.7.1の22時です。雨がまだ降っています。災害が起きないことを祈って。良い週末をお過ごしください。
ステキなお庭！トマトの成長が早くてびっくりです。この様子だともう少しで実がついて食べられる日も近そうですね。家のはまだ芽が出てやっと少し強くなってきたかなという感じです🌱
梅雨はジトジトして嫌ですね。そのあとは暑い日がやってきそうですか？
ありがとうございます。四年目で何とか形になってきた感じです。そうですね。中玉トマトは結構早くて、早く色がつかないかなと心待ちにしています。去年は大雨の後に酷暑がやってきたら枯死してしまったので今年は食べたいぞ！と息巻いてます～(笑)梅雨の後は猛暑がやってくる予測です。今日も梅雨の晴れ間で30度以上で暑かったです。
上から紐やテープを垂らしてトマトを支える方法、私も試してみたくて毎年のびのびになっています。来週はコミュニティーガーデンのトマトたちに支柱を立てないと。
個人的には草も共存している感じのワイルドガーデン好きです 😊 というかSuminyanさんのお庭、手入れ行き届いていますよ！
コミュニティガーデンのトマト、遠い空の下からですが楽しみにしています。
上から垂らした紐に誘引する方法を動画サイトで見て以来、ずぅっとやりたいと思っているのですがもう何年越しで出来ていないです。今年は育ちが良いのでやってみたい。でも最近アシナガバチが飛び交っているんですよ～。毎日うろついてるから刺されはしないだろうけど…。ちょっと天気が良さそうなので大きな梯子を持ってこれそうだから頑張れたらやってみます。

壊滅的な所は見せないから(;・∀・)でも無策ではないかな、とちょっと思えました。

雨の良く降るここでは草が先に生育しちゃうんだよね。
でも草を取ったので、真夏の太陽が似合うアレのタネがやっと蒔けそうで嬉しいです！
