It's time to flex Steemians!

So-called "decentralized" social media are hooping and hollering over fugazi. Their breakthrough is Steems rear view mirror!

What has steem done for you?

Have you met some awesome people who have changed your life?

Have you earned some rewards on a post, and maybe bought something useful/cool with the money? (photos please!)

Has Steem been useful as a foundation for you to build an online profile that can never be taken from you?

I want to take these real-life testimonies and blast them all over the internet!
Make a post and use the hashtag #GratitudeChallenge and tag three friends to participate!

I tag @acidyo @guiltyparties @exyle

I will be giving out upvotes all next week for people sharing their Steem Testimony!

For me, I'm grateful that Steem has offered a home free of censorship. Steems technology allows me to send value across the world, for free, in three seconds, without permission. I have earned more money on Steem then any other social platform, by a mile. Steem has changed the way I see potential in everything I do. It has allowed me to help build projects like https://3speak.online/, and the community is nothing short of amazing! Most of all, I'm grateful Steem has given me and the world opportunity. It's up to us how we use our newly found powers!

Here is my entry :

I explained in the video how steem works, what are the applications built on steem, how many interesting communities we have, I talked about our traffic, about cool steemians I met, and I a lot of things I baught like my quality phone and about what I earned from steem. I'm really grateful for being on steem more than 2 years. ☺

I could probably put together a series of original posts covering the things STEEM has done for me. One I have top of mind is being able to follow the adventure of someone across the globe and contribute directly to their cause with the use of vested/liquid STEEM.

https://steemit.com/health/@cryptopie/it-has-been-a-long-night-of-toil-for-me-and-it-is-now-time-to-rest-2019715t2532353z

Just one of dozens of things steem has given me.

Back in late 2016, I joined Steem after watching a vid from @highimpactflix. I was enamored by the potential of a social media blockchain.

I later learned it wasn't all 🌞 and 🌈 s and I later found my purpose striving against the corrupt. SFR was and is my incubator and through it I have matured.

Bear in my this was after my time in service in the Corps which also served to build my character but not so smooth around the edges. I'm still a bit jagged at times but I am becoming more adept at my expression within the realm of social media.

Now, I suspect the SFR and and Steem may be but a stop on my journey but I will never forget the community and what we have accomplished together.✌️

I'm not saying I'm done but my morale is low so I may just take a break. I probably need it.

Maybe, I'll work on my subs on @dtube. I'm a big fan of free speech advocacy as an up and coming conservative testing my limits in social media.

But I don't think I had enough subs to meet the stringent requirements of @threespeak but am assured it was nothing personal.

I will write this post up this week. I can go on and on about it.

Should be interesting...I am glad you are doing this.

Steem is already changing lives and will impact millions more. In time, this is going to be one of the greatest endeavors we have seen. The commitment of the developers along with the community at large is incredible.

We are going to see enormous shifts in the world because of Steem.

steemit is a wonderful platform, it is really the only one that I use and that pays me for creating content. I hope Steemit will continue to strengthen and we can generate more income than the current ones.

I've lot of things steem has done for in time past even in present. I didn't share most of them here.
Here are links to some of my previous testimonies

New testimonies coming my way soon I believe 😃.. Thanks for always creating a means to support our steem journey.

Oh, this is a very close to home topic. I don't even know where to begin.

First of all, I never really thought I'd ever be comfortable infront of a camera. Over an year later, Steem has helped me get out of my comfort zone & currently daily vlogs. As a result of getting out of my comfort zone, I have gotten amazing support that has enabled me to Steem Fulltime , making a living doing what I love the most.

I started out with a very crappy phone, an year later I bought a Camera, A laptop , & Some Other vlogging equipment to better my content quality. Hopefully, In November, I will make it to Steemfest with my Steem earnings & Meet some amazing community members like yourself :))))

I will be putting up my piece in a bit that is a nice initiative. the stuffs I bought with steem was stolen tho but It did help me to buy it so I will put it up and hope to buy new one.

In real life STEEM helped me to stop wasting my time shitposting randomly in Twitter and other social media. The incentive led me to try and make my content to have useful quality.

Me gusta la idea de agrader y yo tengo mucho que agradecer. Haré mi publicación, pero en español (mi ingles es muy malo y no me atrevo a publicar algo que traduzca google). ;)

Thank you so much for all you do for the Steemit community my friend! I have just been tagged to enter into “The Gratitude Challenge” and I will do my best to exspress my honest loving feelings, which are many, in regards to this wonderful platform that I’ve been evolved in for about a year and a half. I have never done a writing challenge before, I don’t consider myself to be much of a writer. I am mainly involved with “digital drawing for art contests” so this will be all new to me. Thanks again, I will fallow you now, and God bless you❣️

@theycallmedan, Looking forward to this brother. 👍

Oh my word, @theycallmedan: my two year anniversary on Steem is coming up next week. This will certainly be one of the elements of my post: what has the platform done for me. It's brewing....

And in case you haven't been thanked for a while:

Thank you

For what you do for all of us little fish on the blockchain.

Steem it's the best blockchain, much to be thankful for.

I join this challenge!

Thanks for being proactive to help make a positive outcome. You deserve some hugs.🤗🤗🤗

I am very grateful for what Steem has done for me and am looking at what I can do to make a good experience for others.

Dear They Call Me Dan @theycallmedan

Being thankful I think is part of the universe. Thank you for sharing this dynamic for everyone.

Greetings from Venezuela here I leave my entry

The challenge of gratitude! Give thanks before you receive them, by @theycallmedan

Oh! I saw this today. This Challenge is great! Steemit is important to every member of the community, I think everyone has something to thank Steemit and the people here and this is a great way to thank them all.
When it ends?
I can participate in this Challenge or do I have to be nominated?

I have wanted to use 3speak for several weeks but I have to do something good for it. Art would be a good subject to share?

Challenge accepted, and thanks for the motivation! I was having some writers block, and this topic was inspiring to talk about. Click here to read 'My review of the Steem Blockchain.'

Thank You for this Amazing Challenge. Being Grateful Brings Humbleness. Challenge Completed:

Even though money has not poured like some may expect, especially considering the amount of time one devotes to the platform, there has been some things that I particularly have been able to solve thanks to Steemit and the money I have earned from it. Nonetheless, there have been other equally satisfactory aspects that I describe in the post.
