Anyway Mrs. J would make sure that I didn't have the checkbook with me when we went out and it was a social gathering or something because if I started talking to someone who needed money I'd get out the checkbook and ask them how much they needed! Even strangers! lol. She tells that story about me. And it's true.
I still really like to pay with a check book but I'm not sure why. And for everyday things we always pay with cash. The stores down here actually prefer cash. Maybe I'm not the only dinosaur!

I can believe that about you! It's good that she is the sensible one! I have a checkbook but use it rarely these days. I pay most everything online.
