  • Good afternoon dear hivers, I hope you are having a wonderful week... Today, I will explain how to prepare an exquisite “chicken with vegetables and almonds”. This recipe is very versatile, you can complement it with an infinite number of toppings, this time I accompanied it with “mashed sweet potatoes and avocado salad”. I hope you enjoy the process and are encouraged to make this appetizing dish... Let's get started!
  • Buenas tardes queridos hivers, espero que estén pasando una magnífica semana... Hoy, les explicaré como preparar un exquisito "pollo con vegetales y almendras". Esta receta es muy versátil, la pueden complementar con infinidad de contornos, en ésta ocasión la acompañé con "puré de batatas y ensalada de aguacate". Espero que disfruten el proceso y se animen a realizar éste apetitoso platillo... Empecemos!

  • INGREDIENTS: carrots, red bell pepper, coriander, chives, almonds, sweet paprika, cumin, pepper, 1 teaspoon of butter and 300 gr of chicken breast.
  • INGREDIENTES: zanahoria, pimiento rojo, cilantro, cebollín, almendras, pimentón dulce, comino, pimienta, 1 cucharadita de mantequilla y 300 gr de pechuga de pollo.
  • We sauté the chicken breast, cut into “medium” cubes, previously seasoned with pepper, garlic powder and salt to taste... sauté until it takes a golden consistency. Set aside to be used in the final step.
  • Sofreímos la pechuga de pollo, cortada en cubos "medianos", condimentamos previamente con pimienta, ajo en polvo y sal al gusto... salteamos hasta que tome una consistencia dorada. Reservamos para utilizar en el paso final.

  • Sauté the "carrot", cut into julienne strips, together with the red bell pepper (finely cut), add the butter, this ingredient will provide a very delicious texture. Sauté until the carrot softens a little.
  • Sofreímos la "zanahoria", cortada en julianas, junto con el pimiento rojo (finamente cortado), colocamos la mantequilla, éste ingrediente aportará una textura muy deliciosa. Salteamos hasta que la zanahoria se ablande un poco.

  • To give the "chives" some prominence, I thought it was great to cut them into “thick” wheels.
  • Para dar un poco de protagonismo al "cebollín", me pareció genial cortar en ruedas "gruesas".

  • Next, we incorporate the chicken we had reserved... Season with: sweet paprika, pepper, cumin and salt. Add a little water and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, so that the ingredients take on a very tasty and substantial flavor.
  • A continuación, incorporamos el pollo que teníamos reservado... Aliñamos con: pimentón dulce, pimienta, comino y sal. Agregamos un toquesito de agua, cocinamos a fuego "bajo" durante 5 minutos, para que los ingredientes tomen un sabor muy sabroso y sustancioso.
