It's extremely easy to say but only .01 percent of Americans make that amount of money when you are not part of that .01 percent. One to ten million dollars isn't that much money and it essentially amounts to peanuts after someone takes more than half of it. Actually after they get rid of all the other tax shelters, which would be a more viable avenue to go down first, it won't amount to a hill of beans especially if someone wants to invest and grow their brand. They may even ask themselves why would I want to work harder so someone else can take over half of it to pay for everyone else's medical insurance. Same if you happen to win a ten million lottery, you'd have to give up over half of it then pay state and local taxes on it.
There's no way the government should be in total control of the health care system. You think increases in health care premiums are out of control now just wait until every vendor starts gouging the government....how much does the government pay for toilets again? It's laughable.
These people you are so happy to see be forced to give up half their money the vast majority are just going to flee the country...then what? Wow, now that seven thousand dollars becomes double. That twelve thousand dollar deduction wouldn't cover all the cost of housing for a vast majority of people now a days.
We didn't have this problem to this extent before globalization and the quest for cheap labor...maybe the answer lays in making those who can afford to move their operations abroad to pay the difference in wages to a fund that covers medical care for the poor. Or as simple as charging them a huge fee for production outside the states. We didn't have a lot of the issues we have today until globalization....including the so called global warming. Nothing the government ever says works out the way they say it will, in the long haul it will provide substandard care at a rate much high in the projected long haul, cost will go up and wages will remain stagnant even at fifteen dollars an hour, as each year passes your so called disposal income...which by the way isn't disposal in total once you add the rest of the cost of rent from your standard deduction, gas bills, electric bills, food, clothing, gas for the car, cost of maintenance of the car, car insurance, cable bills, phone bills, etc., that isn't what you call disposal that's what you call your obligations....there's a huge difference.
