What are you talking about "how things got this way"....these things were always this way, these things were the principle things upon which this country was built. When we talk about "how things got this way" it solely falls upon the shoulders of those wanting to change the way things have always been. You can argue all day long rather those things are good or bad but it will never change the fact those things always existed.

What you are so "disencouraged" about is the simple fact that you all have been relishing in the thought that all the "boomers" were going to die in the next several years leaving you free reign to implement whatever fantasies that come to occupy your minds in some "it makes me feel good" moments without looking at the future consequences of the action(s) taken. Escaping off into unrealistic realities such as these without encompassing the fact that boomers produced baby boomers shows why they are incapable of making decisions to protect the health and well being of our nation.
