Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! El | ¡SOPA! // Sopa de pollo

¡Hello, friends of hive!

In this opportunity I bring a delicious chicken soup for the @qurator Hive Top Chef contest, this soup is a traditional dish from my country Venezuela, it is common to find it in our table especially on weekends.

This dish is very important because of its high content of proteins and minerals, all its ingredients provide an adequate nutritional level for the proper functioning of our body, it gives us energy and much vitality.
It is easy to prepare and its ingredients are very accessible to find.

To make this delicious and nutritious soup we'll need the following :

• ½ chicken
• 1 and a half kilo of vegetables (Ocumo, pumpkins, yucca and celery)
• 1 Onion
• 1 Stem of Chives
• 1 Pepper
• 2 Jojotos
• Branches (celery, parsley, coriander)
• Chimbombo.

Procedure (step by step)

• The first thing we must do is chop the chicken into pieces and wash and remove the skin





• Put 2 liters of water in the pot and put it on the stove

• When the water is boiling add the chicken and put in the salt.






• While peeling, chopping and washing the vegetables



• When the chicken is soft put the already chopped vegetables.

• Then add the peeled, washed and chopped jojotos, too, and the chimbombo.

• Place an onion, paprika and a stem of celery






• Fry the dressing and add onoto. Then add to the soup.





• Boil until vegetables are soft, test for salt and pepper if you need more.





• A few minutes before turning off the fire, add the finely chopped herbs: coriander, parsley, celery, mint and chives.





• Turn off the fire and let it rest for a few minutes and serve.
