These photos were taken almost 20 years ago during the last day of my trip to Montreal (Canada). I can say that it was my farewell to this city of Quebec. It is amazing how fast the time passes.
It is the Jacques Cartier Bridge that crosses the St. Lawrence river (“Fleuve Saint-Laurent" in French). It was built in 1930, its structure is made of steel. Jacques Cartier was the French explorer that discovered this river.

Estas fotografías fueron tomadas hace casi 20 años atrás durante el último día de mi estancia en Montreal, Canadá. Se puede decir que forman parte de mi despedida de esta ciudad de Quebec.
Es incredible como pasa el tiempo.
Se trata del puente del Puente Jacques Cartier que cruza el Río San Lorenzo ("St. Lawrence River", "Fleuve Saint-Laurent", en inglés y francés respectivamente), el cual fue construido en 1930. Su estructura es de acero. Cabe destacar que Jacques Cartier fue el explorador francés que descubrió este río.
As you can see the photos were taken during the sunset and we distinguish the silhouette of the bridge structure, the reflections of the sun light on the river (in the first image) and the lights of the cars crossing the bridge (in the second image). The captured of the photo was taken from St. Helen’s Island (“Île Sainte-Hélène” in French).
The camera used was a Sony DSC-F717 and the edition was done in Gimp.
Como pueden observar las fotos fueron tomadas en el atardecer y se destaca la silueta de su estructura, los reflejos del atardecer en las aguas del río (en la primera imagen) y parcialmente las luces de los autos que lo cruzan (en la segunda imagen). La toma se realizó desde la isla de Santa Helena (St. Helen’s island/Île Sainte-Hélène)
Usé una cámara Sony DSC-F717 y Gimp en la edición de las imágenes.
