Hello friends, how are you? Today I will be participating in the contest proposed in the community of Makeup Power which is to answer some questions about the MakeupChallenge and recreate the first makeup we did for this challenge. You can read more about the contest here. Dare to participate. ❤️⚡

El primer maquillaje que realicé para el Makeup Challenge estuvo inspirado en el POP ART, aquí pueden chequear mi publicación. El día de hoy quise recrear ese maquillaje pero hacer algo un poco distinto a mis publicaciones anteriores, y es que no solo tomé fotografías del proceso sino que también hice un pequeño video para que vean el paso a paso. Se los dejo a continuación.

The first makeup I did for the Makeup Challenge was inspired by POP ART, here you can check my publication. Today I wanted to recreate that makeup but do something a little different from my previous publications, and that is that I not only took pictures of the process but also made a small video so that you can see the step by step. I'll leave you with it below.

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre el ANTES y el AHORA? Recuerdo que cuando realicé ese maquillaje hace 4 meses sentí que podía mejorar muchas cosas, pero no sabía exactamente cómo. Hoy me propuse mejorarlo, ¿Cómo lo hice? Me dediqué más tiempo a mi piel, a contornear e iluminar para darle mas estructura a mi rostro. Las cejas las realicé de forma mas natural. Los últimos meses me he maquillado las cejas como si estuvieran tatuadas (con la excusa de que casi no tengo cejas) y estoy intentando corregir esto para darle un aspecto más natural al rostro. Aunque las cejas de aspecto "tatuado" no me disgustan en gran medida (esas cejas que son súper rectas y definidas), siento que el aspecto natural combina mejor con mi rostro. Los punticos rojos los realicé en mayor cantidad y más pegados, para que no parezca varicela sino POP ART, y los detalles en negro los realicé de forma más delicada y fina. Algo que recuerdo que no me gustó del primer maquillaje es que noté que mis labios se veían "rústicos" y no muy bien definidos, ahora estoy más conforme con lo que logré hoy en ese sentido 👄. Un plus al maquillaje es que en ese momento no me sabía poner pestañas (todavía estoy aprendiendo pero ahora lo intento con más frecuencia). Además, las lágrimas del primer maquillaje SON EDICIÓN 💧💧💦, y hoy las dibujé en mi rostro, algo que se me hizo muy fácil luego de tantos retos en los que no solo me he tenido que maquillar sino también dibujar sobre mi piel :)

What is the difference between the BEFORE and NOW? I remember that when I did that makeup 4 months ago I felt that I could improve many things, but I didn't know exactly how. Today I set out to improve it, how did I do it? I spent more time on my skin, contouring and brightening to give more structure to my face. I made my eyebrows more natural. The last few months I have been doing my eyebrows as if they were tattooed (with the excuse that I have almost no eyebrows) and I am trying to correct this to give a more natural look to the face. Although "tattooed" looking eyebrows don't really bother me (those eyebrows that are super straight and defined), I feel that the natural look goes better with my face. I did the red dots in more quantity and closer, so it doesn't look like chickenpox but POP ART, and the black details were done in a more delicate and fine way. Something I remember that I didn't like from the first makeup is that I noticed that my lips looked "rustic" and not very well defined, now I'm more satisfied with what I achieved today in that way 👄. A plus to the makeup is that at that time I didn't know how to put on eyelashes (I'm still learning but now I'm trying more often). Also, the tears of the first makeup are edited 💧💧💦, and today I drew them on my face, something that became very easy after so many challenges in which not only I had to make up but also draw on my skin :)

Now, after recreating my makeup, I will answer the questions about the challenge:

1.- ¿Cuando te uniste al reto? Me uní al reto hace aproximádamente 4 meses, a comienzos de agosto si no me equivoco. Mi primera participación fue en la semana 2 y el tema era POP ART. Antes de eso solo había subido "mi intento" de delineado a otra comunidad en Hive, y reseñas de productos de skin care, pero realmente nunca me había realizado un maquillaje, y tenía muy poquitos productos

1.- When did you join the challenge? I joined the challenge about 4 months ago, at the beginning of August if I'm not mistaken. My first participation was in week 2 and the theme was POP ART. Before that, I had only uploaded "my attempt" of eyeliner to another community in Hive, and I reviewed skin care products, but I had never really made a makeup, and I had very few products

2.- ¿Cuál ha sido el tema que más te ha gustado? Mi tema favorito sin duda ha sido la semana de Obras de Arte, me gustó tanto que realicé 3 participaciones. Mis maquillajes favoritos han sido los "inspirado en...", pues tomas una referencia y dejas volar tu imaginación. 🌈

2.- What has been the topic that you liked the most? My favorite theme has undoubtedly been the Artwork week, I liked it so much that I made 3 participations. My favorite make-ups have been those "inspired by...", because you take a reference and let your imagination fly. 🌈

3.- Nombra a alguien cuyo trabajo te haya gustado y cuéntanos porqué. Me encanta el trabajo de varias chicas de la comunidad es muy díficil escoger solo a una!! 🙈🙈 Cada una tiene lo suyo, algunas son más de la técnica, otras tienen un pulso increíble, otras realizan una aplicación de sombras geniales, y otras se convierten literalmente en obras de arte. Pero bueno, si tengo que escoger solo a una escojo a @Justeli, que es una artista en nuestra comunidad, una chica muy bella y dulce. Amo sus maquillajes estilo editorial y sus maquillajes artísticos. Siempre usa muchos colores y su aplicación es muy intensa, cosa que me encanta :).

3.- Name someone whose work you liked and tell us why. I love the work of several girls in the community, it's very difficult to choose just one! 🙈🙈 Each one has her own, some are more technical, some have an incredible pulse, some make a great shadow application, and some literally become works of art. But well, if I have to choose just one I choose @Justeli, who is an artist in our community, a very beautiful and sweet girl. I love her editorial style make-up and her artistic make-up. She always uses a lot of colors and her application is very intense, which I love :).

4.- ¿Ha mejorado tu forma de maquillarte gracias al reto? Yo creo que síi. He aprendido muchísimas cosas leyendo a las chicas de la comunidad y también buscando por mi propia cuenta. Creo que también ahora conozco más mi rostro, mi piel, y eso me ayuda a tomar mejores decisiones a la hora de maquillarme.

4.- Has the challenge improved your make-up? I think so. I've learned a lot of things by reading the girls in the community and also looking for my own. I think that now I also know more about my face, my skin, and that helps me make better decisions when it comes to makeup.

5.- ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de participar en el #MakeupChallenge ? Lo que más me gusta es que lo concibo como un reto personal. Yo me lo tomo muy en serio, los lunes estoy pendiente de cuál es el tema y busco un momento en mi día para trabajar en ello. Eso me ha creado una especie de disciplina, una motivación a participar cada una de las semanas y a dar lo mejor de mí, superarme cada vez más. Es una oportunidad para dejar volar mi imaginación, intentando ser lo más creativa y original posible.

5.- What do you like the most about participating in #MakeupChallenge? What I like most is that I see it as a personal challenge. I take it very seriously, on Mondays I'm aware of what the topic is and look for a moment in my day to work on it. This has created a kind of discipline, a motivation to participate every week and to give my best, to improve myself more and more. It is an opportunity to let my imagination fly, trying to be as creative and original as possible.

6.- ¿Qué le cambiarias a este Reto? Realmente no le cambiaría nada, quizás solo agregaría como regla opcional invitar a las participantes a añadirle un toque personal a sus publicaciones. Por ejemplo, si alguien quiere colocar el playlist que utilizó para maquillarse en ese momento, hablar de los productos que usó, o de su estado de ánimo mientras se maquillaba, cosas que no están propiamente indicadas en las reglas. Hemos sido libres de hacerlo creo yo, pero incentivar a eso sería muy cool porque veríamos aún más la creatividad y estilo de cada una.

6.- What would you change about this Challenge? I wouldn't really change anything, maybe I would just add as an optional rule to invite the participants to add a personal touch to their publications. For example, if someone wants to post the playlist they used to put on their makeup at that moment, talk about the products they used, or their mood while putting on their makeup, things that are not properly indicated in the rules. We have been free to do this, I think, but to encourage that would be very cool because we would see even more of each other's creativity and style.
