Hola amigos! El día de hoy les traigo mi participación para el reto de maquillaje de @lucianav y @ambarvegas, el cual consiste en realizar un maquillaje inspirado en una diosa griega. El tema de esta semana me pareció interesante y divertido, pues las posibilidades en cuanto a maquillaje, peinado, vestuario y edición son infinitas. Es decir, es perfecto para dejar volar nuestra imaginación!!. En mi caso, para participar esta semana escogí a NIX, la diosa de la mitología griega de la oscuridad y de la noche, y me inspiré en un maquillaje que encontré en Pinterest que les dejo a continuación:
Hello friends! Today I bring you my participation for the makeup challenge of @lucianav and @ambarvegas, which consists in making a makeup inspired by a Greek goddess. I found this week's theme interesting and fun, as the possibilities in terms of makeup, hairstyle, wardrobe and editing are endless. In other words, it's perfect for letting our imagination run wild! In my case, to participate this week I chose NIX, the goddess of Greek mythology of darkness and night, and I was inspired by a makeup I found in Pinterest that I leave you with below:
Para empezar con el maquillaje coloqué base en todo mi rostro. Luego, comencé con la zona de los ojos, aplicando una sombra base blanca, y luego, una sombra morada en todo el párpado. Para darle más profundidad al maquillaje, coloqué en el párpado móvil una sombra negra y difuminé muy bien integrando los colores. Luego, apliqué delineador líquido sobre las pestañas, para hacer un delineado muy delgado, y coloqué la sombra morada debajo de los ojos. Para variar un poco de los maquillajes que me he realizado anteriormente, no me delineé la parte inferior de los ojos, ni me apliqué rimmel, aunque si hice mis cejas como las suelo hacer comúnmente.
To start with the makeup I put foundation all over my face. Then, I started with the eye area, applying a white base shadow, and then, a purple shadow all over my eyelid. To give more depth to the makeup, I placed a black shadow on the mobile eyelid and blended very well integrating the colors. Then, I applied liquid eyeliner on the eyelashes, to make a very thin eyeliner, and I placed the purple shadow under the eyes. To vary a little from the makeup I've done before, I didn't line the bottom of my eyes, nor did I apply mascara, although I did do my eyebrows as I usually do.
Ahora bien, para hacer las estrellitas en los ojos, para que estos luzcan como una noche estrellada, con un lápiz tomé el corrector más claro que tengo y fui aplicando puntitos a lo largo de los ojos, imitando la fotografía de referencia. Luego, me pinté los labios con un labial lila y sobre estos apliqué una sombra negra para que se vieran oscuros. Añadí rubor a las mejillas y un poco de Highlight a las mejillas, la nariz y la parte superior del labio. Y Listo! Como no tengo un chocker de color blanco, me inventé uno con papel de baño, enrollándolo con mis dedos y amarrándolo en la parte de atrás del cuello. 🤣🙈 Como les dije antes, este reto requiere de mucha creatividad, jajajaj, por eso me gusta tanto.
Now, to make the little stars in my eyes, so they look like a bright night, with a pencil I took the lightest concealer I have and I applied little dots along my eyes, imitating the reference photograph. Then, I painted my lips with a lilac lipstick and applied a black shadow over them to make them look dark. I added blush to the cheeks and a little bit of Highlight to the cheeks, nose and upper lip. And that's it! Since I don't have a white chocker, I invented one with toilet paper, rolling it up with my fingers and tying it around the back of my neck. 🤣🙈 As I told you before, this challenge requires a lot of creativity, hahaha, that's why I like it so much.
Sin duda, la parte más díficil del maquillaje fue editar la foto de portada para realizar estrellitas en mi cabello. Sin mentir, me tomó como media hora, las estrellas me salían muy grandes, o deformes, pero finalmente, creo que lo logré. ¿Qué les parece? ¿Si parezco una diosa griega de la noche? Without a doubt, the hardest part of the makeup was editing the cover photo to make little stars in my hair. Without lying, it took me about half an hour, the stars came out very big, or deformed, but finally, I think I did it. What do you think? Do I look like a Greek goddess of the night?
