RE: Hive Open Mic week 46, Someone You Loved

You say you play more rhythmically with the headphones

Ok, I think I didn't write down well...Oh my English. So, I played with the headphones to hear what I play at the same time, as the piano is connected with the interface so I can not hear the sound of the piano otherwise. I have to have headphones to hear what I play.

I chose to play rhythmically free, not so in time as in original song. Hear here , check it out!!! Don't stay with my interpretation :)

I was in love with this song about one year ago, and there are two more I want to play

Before you go

Bruises

Thank you for listening to me 🤗 (and the dynamics can be heard better with the headphones)

I have to forgive myself as yesterday was the last day to publish. I listened to everyone in the last 3-4 days, and my entry didn't have to time to be prepared before haha

Sort:

Hahaha you become so dedicated to HIVE you have the forgive yourself! Have been there, but left that behind :) Nothing is mandatory at HIVE, so nothing to forgive when not entering in some challenge, or not attending to HIVE for some time. But, I leave you to what you feel you need to :)

Owww, this scottish guy I recognise. Not sure of this song is the one, or some other that is very similar. Can it be, this guy was used for a Volve advertisement? Have the feeling with another song, but very similar to this one. Your version I like better btw :)

Piano: so your piano is not 100% mechanic, but its electric of some sort? Like my neighbours one? His version has mechanics behind the keys but sensors where the strings usually are. Headphones and other electronic equipment can be connected to his piano. He calls it some name, but don't remeber anymore. What I do remember he played the Cheers series tune the other day and I asked him: "CHEERS, where where when when?"... He answered: "I Don't Know"... turned out, he didn;'t realise he played that title song of this series :)

Yes, kinda went a bit too much with the feeling of doing the things at time, organized, well, etc. Can not be handled always, I know. It is not mandatory, I know :D
However, Hive Open Mic IS a weekly event, so today a new topic will be announced.

Ok, you recognized him, great :-) The time I discovered him I listened to this song and Bruises song xy times....you know, when you know where the singer will breath, how the voice will vibrate, or the piano string s' vibrations are anticipated in your mind already. I made arrangement for violin and piano, and played with my son at home for days....we wanted to record, but then time just passed and he now doesn't like anymore this song 😔

You like better my version? You just say this as you know me, right? 😜🤩😂

Last paragraph: Oh, I see that the music community will receive a detailed post of the piano history, mechanism, types and connected stuff to this... Although it would need some time. When I cut back on engagement 😂

You like better my version? You just say this as you know me, right? 😜🤩😂

Absolutely! .... NOPE, not at all.... That 'absolutely' was a lie :) ... By now you know, I'm more into instrumentals than in vocals. That's one reason I like you version more. In many music genres and styles, I like the more minimalistic approaches to music more than anything else. As you can hear from my set recording I shared with my previous Spread the Vibes post and compare them for instance with music Uwe posts. I can show you albums that are so miimalistic, many people will not call it music. Sometimes I use the word: Soundscaping for these albums. Anyway, that's a topic for another post, and I'm digressing too much already 😉

Spoiler alert 😁

Ok, waiting for a post of minimalistic music 🎵 :)

Ok, does this mean I'm on an assignment? 😉

Yes Sir :D
