Hive Open Mic 116 here we are! With the theme being 'trumpet sound' I kept on thinking about blues music, and I had this song in my head!
When Gary Moore plays this one live, there is an array of brass instruments! They might be saxaphones, but I'm pretty sure there could be a trumpet there as he has about 4 brass players! Either way, this was my interpretation!
I love playing Gary Moore songs, as he is my favourite guitarist of all time. I sure love listening to him play, and for this version of mine I am playing along to the vocal melody (in some parts) and then just letting the feeling take me away!
I hope you all enjoy this one!:) so many great entries every week, it is amazing!
Also - tomorrow I will be uploading one of my original songs for you all to hear :) it will be an acoustic cover! the song is called 'rivers'
I am releasing my debut album in 1 WEEK!
'CHOEY G - TIME?' streaming on all platforms - 9th July!
Peace and love to you all :)

Oh yeah!!! Thank you sis! Appreciate you having a listen :) I'm always here rockin and rollin! :D
Always welcome, big bro! Enjoy your weekend!
SunsetHunter friend, what a brutal performance 🔥🔥🔥, I loved it from start to finish, you are too talented on the guitar, I love your feeling, your technique and your versatility to play, you are a great artist friend and I wish you many successes in the release of your album, you deserve it 👍😉!!!
Tomorrow I will be on the lookout for that single to listen to it, I congratulate you for the great talent you have, someday I want to play like that 😁!!!
Your guitar is a beauty, if I'm not wrong, it's an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Ebony or I'm wrong? it's beautiful and hey brother I'd like to know what distortion you use to play, is it a fuzz or an overdrive? I love that crunchy sound!!!!
Thank you so much for your presence once again at the Hive Open Mic, it was a pleasure to visit you and listen to you talk to the guitar with this tremendous piece of master Gary Moore and your incredible licks and solos, we hope to see you next week Bro 🤜🤛 ¡You Rock! 🙌😀💛
Hey @fernanblog !:) ah dude this is such an awesome message to have received from you! I appreciate this so much, especially coming from an awesome musician like you!:) means a lot to me brother :)
That is so cool! I will upload my acoustic version of 'Rivers' real soon, and then I will upload the original track! I have a solo on the original track too!:)
Yes, you're right! It is an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. I actually picked this one up really cheap (second hand) and it had been neglected for years! So it was covered in dust and had a few parts broken, but has cleaned up real well and sounds amazing! I think the Les Paul customs ebony are stunning!
Really appreciate your comment and feedback man :)
It is with pleasure Brother, you are very cool and you really have my respect and admiration, and thanks for your words Bro, I receive them with much affection 🤜🤛!!!!
I'll keep an eye on the songs, if you can let me know much better, so I do not overlook it ok? sometimes with so many messages to answer I overlook others unintentionally.
Your guitar is beautiful Brother, I want one just like it, here they are very expensive even second hand 😅, in fact when I could buy my 2nd guitar, it was the white Epiphone you saw in the last video I uploaded 2 weeks ago, but my original intention was one like yours, someday I will have it you'll see 👍😉!!!
Bro it was a pleasure to visit you and listen to you rocking like the gods, you forgot to tell me what distortion you use, I'm interested to know how you get that cool sound; a hug man.... You Rockkkkkkkkk!!!! 👊😎🔥🎙️🎸🎶❤️🌟🍻💥💫💯
Ah yes! The distortion I use is a setting on my 'zoom GX4' pedal. The effect is called 'Gold Drive' and it's an overdrive. I guess it is simulating an Ibanez tube screamer but will more gain, and I have some reverb and delay too!
Yea dude, your white les paul is super nice too! I was really lucky getting this black one for about $180 USD! Usually they are double or more!
One day we will have all of our dream guitars brother! :D
Oh yes, and as a reminder I posted one of my songs as my last post - an acoustic version and the studio version :) it's called 'Rivers' and is one of my more 'pop rock' songs!
Appreciated man! Keep rocking!
Bro thank you so much for the info, I figured it was an overdrive, I use a Marshall analog pedal, but I loved your sound, and yes I agree, we will have our dream guitars Ouuu Yeahhh Man 🤜🤛!!!!
Hey that guitar really was a gift at that price, no doubt about it 😍 and I'm already going to visit your post of course I will dear Brother, thanks for letting me know 🙌😀💛... You Rockkkkk!!! 👊😎🔥🎙️🎸🎶❤️🌟🍻💥💫💯

Wow broo what a Great performance! Definitely your musical level with the guitar is very high. You have a precision in the tones and in the bends, they sound very powerful. I don't know if you like this comment; but that style reminds me a bit of Zakk Wylde...but mixed with other fresher styles. Amazing bro. Blessings
Oh man, I LOVE this comment! To be compared to Zakk Wylde is a dream come true haha! He really is one of my favorites! His picking is so crazy, I love his style. Maybe I will cover a Zakk song soon :) maybe Farewell Ballad!
Thanks brother! :)
