Today three years ago my sister @lizanomadsoul helped me to onboard the blockchain. This year I am happy to attend the @hivefest virtual until tomorrow. I already met a lot of familiar faces today. Thank you for your engagement in the last years. Without you I would not be here anymore. I really enjoyed the blogging experience with this beautiful community spirit.
Heute ist es drei Jahre her, dass meine Schwester @lizanomadsoul mich auf die Blockchain gebracht hat. Dieses Jahr bin ich sehr glücklich am virtuellen @hivefest bis morgen teilnehmen zu können. Ich traf schon einige bekannte Gesichter heute. Danke für euren Einsatz in den letzten Jahren. Ohne euch wäre ich auch nicht mehr hier. Ich habe die Erfahrung auf der Blockchain sehr genossen mit diesem tollen Gemeinschaftsgeist.
The lobby of the event is a nice park with fireside, house and explaining information areas for newcomers. The view is amazing!

When you enter the Mainstage you can find two living rooms with a computer to get your badge. I met @roelandp, the organizer, @aggroed, @arcange, @blocktrades, @louis88, @soyrosa, @detlev, @martibis and other well known users.
Wenn du zur Hauptbühne kommst, kannst du auch zwei Zimmer betreten mit einem Computer an dem du dein Hivefest Abzeichen bekommst. Ich traf @roelandp, den Veranstalter, @aggroed, @arcange, @blocktrades, @louis88, @soyrosa, @detlev, @martibis und andere bekannte Userinnen.

I thought it was great fun and so so nice to be able to 'see' and actually chat to people! I spend 6 hours in a virtual world without even thinking of taking a break, lovely :D Tomorrow I'll be hosting a dinner but am already thinking of sneaking in afterwards to see if there's still people online :-) Cheers!

Sehr fein, wenigstens ein paar Impressionen zu sehen. Und hallo auch @stayoutoftherz! Mir blieb es leider vergönnt, die Hard-/Software macht bei mir nicht mit. Ich hoffe morgen einen Live-Stream zu erhaschen. Extra für dich. Ja der AltspaceVR App ist nicht so einfach zu verstehen. Da musst dich durchfuchsen. Vlt funktioniert es ja für dich bis morgen. Ja man kann alles nachschauen. Hab gerade auf twitter auch noch einen Livestream gefunden.

I would think a 24hour event in this sense would make super sense. For example, today I was not able to get on time. Tomorrow I will give it a good go.
Suggestion for @roelandp, I understand that not all presentations would be heard in a 24 hour event, but then if making like a 2 round inverting 12hours in timezones, making every presenter present the same thing on the second day at a different slot on the timezone would give a huge opportunity for everyone to have more reasons to attend any time..

Konnte mich heute nicht teleportieren, die PC App war ziemlich buggy, hab die Teleport Map angeklickt und irgendwie habe ich es dann einmal geschafft zur NFT Galerie zu kommen, das Teleport Popup ist ein paar Minuten später plötzlich aufgepoppt. Dann habe ich es aber nicht mehr geschafft, war ziemlich frustrierend. Es gab auch den Check-In-Computer nicht mehr in der Lobby.
Wenn es nicht funktioniert musst du wieder neu einsteigen. Ich kam auch nur zur Mainstage, indem ich wieder ausgestiegen bin und dann nicht enter beim Event klicken sondern Portal. Dann kannst du zu den Rooms deiner Freunde beitreten zb der Mainstage. Der Check In Computer ist immer noch im Zimmer bei der Hauptbühne.

I really appreciated trying this, however I'm just not cut out for VR. I tried using my kids' Oculus 2 which is clearly an amazing bit of tech. I just find myself becoming nauseous after very little time with it on. It's not particularly comfortable for me with glasses on but getting beyond the discomfort, I just can't cope with the inverse motion sickness so I'm not really inclined to order prescription lens inserts.
Even on my iMac, the movement was enough to cause me discomfort so I'll probably end up watching the interesting bits on @threespeak in the end.
But at lease I was there for a bit!

Congrats for three years crypto blogging! A lot happened. The hive blockchain is a good place for content creators and gamers. @hivefest virtual looks awesome, great idea! But we are excited about the following meetups after the pandemic, when we can see each other in real life again!
