I took these photos quite a while ago of several Gulls way up on a lamp post in a parking lot. I'm pretty sure that I haven't used these photos yet but the theme this week seemed like a perfect opportunity to do so.
I can't remember exactly when I took them and it was with a camera that I just recently got so I neglected to correct the date on it. However, going by the edits that I did on them originally, I believe I would have taken them in 2019. It is amazing how time can really get away from you!
This particular parking lot is a great spot for seeing the Gulls but they would normally congregate towards the other end of this large lot. I believe that is where people would often feed them at. Luckily, I had more than my phone camera on this visit so I was able to zoom in on them a little better.
Evidently, they do fly up to this end of the lot often as well and I did have to "clean up" the lamp post some (if you know what I mean). I did some editing to make them a little more presentable here in my photos .. hope you like it! 🙂

Quite a congregation of birds up there, must have good sighting for scraps dropped anywhere within the vicinity.

Thank you @joanstewart!! There are a few food spots surrounding this lot as well. I'm hoping to catch the Crows on a follow-up visit. Part of the front grocery store is brick and sometimes they cast some great shadows on it. 😊

My girl is trying to improve her lessons, she is in 7th grade for now... still a lot of problems, but there is "a positive dynamics", as they say... today had a walk in the park, I took pics of mushrooms and she photographed sparrows. But generally.... we had war at the doors, you know... that bastard in the president chair stole the power and tries to ruin all of our country.... 😩
Sadly, it almost feels like the entire world is a bit crazy right now. Hopefully, things will get better soon. In the meantime it is good to find beauty in nature at least. Be it with mushrooms or sparrows and such. I've only been out on short walks lately along the trails due to ongoing health issues but I usually find something new and or "cool" to see even if I can't or don't always get to photograph it.
