SMAP Round 47 - Street Ducks In Black And White

in Feathered Friends2 years ago (edited)

Hi Feathered Friends. This is Round 47 of SMAP, The Show Me A Photo Contest hosted by @nelinoeva. The contest post can be found here if you still don't know about this contest yet. Read up and join us and have some fun.

For this week the theme is:

BIRDS IN BLACK AND WHITE

I have missed the last two Rounds of SMAP and I didn't want another week to pass by without an entry. Luckily, I have some photos I was able to dig up for use for this week's theme. I may have shared them already in the past but not in black and white.

My photo entry will be about street ducks. What do I mean by this? Well these are ducks that are left in the streets by their owners to forage for themselves until it's time for them to be fed, usually around 6 in the morning and 6 in the evening. The group of street duck I will show are owned by one of the stall owners in the wet or temporary market just outside our subdivision.

These ducks are so used to being left on their own that they do not mind being surrounded by people. In fact it was raining on this day that I took these pictures and you can see from the pictures below how they were enjoying themselves regardless of their surroundings.

They are really feeling comfy on the street. 😀
Glad to see your entry again.

Glad to be back. I missed you and your contest 🥰

I love to see happy birds and animals. The ones you captured are enjoying their surroundings. @gems.and.cookies.

Hi @redheadpei. Yes, these ducks seem to be really happy with no care at all in the world. Delighted Ducks? 😂

Thanks for leaving your thoughts on the post. I have been remiss on engagements lately. A bit diverted with year-end deadlines and quotas. But my schedule should ease up shortly and I can start engaging again. Hope you understand 🙏
