I hope you all are well and safe.
The new week will start with new round for #SMAP Show Me A Photo Contest in Feathered Friends Community. I am sure you may wonder what I will come up this time. Something that I love very much is the shadows of the birds. Some of you have already used such photos in your previous entries and I thought why not, this is going to be interesting prompt. Hope that you will find some nice photos of birds and their shadows and the new theme for this round is
SHADOW OF THE BIRD
Here are some examples.
Female blackbird walking away from me, but I did catch the shadow.
Yesterday I saw couple of sparrows. They have found crevices in an old building where I suspect is their nest. I cut a lot of the picture just to show you the shadows they cast and to hide the ugly facade.
Now is your turn and I am excited what your entries will be. Be creative, show me your photo of a bird, following these rules:
- The photo must be your own.
- Post in the community Feathered Friends
- You may add more photos, but you should state which one is your entry, otherwise the first will be taken into account.
- Tell us something about your photo/s. Use at least 100 words to describe your photo/s.
- Your photo must follow the weekly theme, which will be announced each Sunday.
- Please put the link of your entry in the commment section of the contest post here.
- Put in the title of your post that this is an entry for the contest. (Optional)
- Use #smap as a tag. - New rule.
If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, you could be nominated for OCD upvote. Making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes.

I have been searching my archives for shadow of a bird, but found no images with well defined shadows good enough for the contest. It's lockdown time so there no way of getting more photographs. I hope to find something to post here soon.. until then the search continues. He he
