Hey there, Hive fam! What’s good? I’m Nguyen, popping in from the wild and bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh, VN. Yep, that’s my home base, and I’m just a regular chick tryna keep it real in this crazy fast-paced city. So, a lil about me – I work as an accountant at this company like 5 mins from my house. Total win, right? No long commutes, no traffic drama, just roll outta bed and I’m basically there. My hubs, tho, he’s a programmer – always glued to his laptop, coding away like a madman. I swear, sometimes I’m like, “Babe, take a break already!” But he loves it, so whatevs.
Then there’s our lil tornado – our 4-year-old daughter. She’s the cutest thing ever, no cap, but man, she’s got energy for days. Always bouncing around, singing her lil songs, or dragging me into some pretend game where I’m the “bad guy” she’s gotta catch. Keeps us on our toes 24/7, but I wouldn’t trade her for anything. This year, tho, we’re crossing our fingers for some big news – tryna add another mini-me to the fam! Yep, hoping for baby #2 in 2025. Kinda nervous but mostly excited, ya feel me? Been prepping a bit too – like, I’ve been scrolling Pinterest for cute nursery ideas and bugging my hubs to clear out the spare room. Fingers crossed it all works out!
So, what else about me? Oh, I’m super into cooking – legit love messing around in the kitchen. Nothing fancy, just whipping up some pho or frying banh xeo for the fam. My girl loves “helping” too, tho it’s more like she’s making a mess, haha. Also, I’m all about those chill walks in the park near our place. After a long day, me and hubs take the lil one there, let her run wild while we just soak in the breeze. It’s my happy place, ya know? And honestly, taking care of my family’s my jam – keeping the house cozy, making sure everyone’s fed and happy. Sounds basic, but it’s what I love most.
Outside of that, I’m pretty laid-back. Love bingeing Netflix when I get a sec – anyone else obsessed with K-dramas? I’m deep into this one show rn, can’t even remember the name cuz I’m terrible with titles, but it’s got me hooked. Oh, and food – I’m a total foodie. Living in HCMC means I’m spoiled with all the street eats. Pho, banh mi, those crispy banh xeo pancakes… ugh, my mouth’s watering just typing this. Me and hubs take lil weekend adventures sometimes, just grabbing food and exploring random spots around the city with our girl.
