One way God blesses His people is by the markings of the Blood of Jesus.
We can't be marked by the Blood of Jesus and end up as nonentities.

To Mark Means;

  1. To be set apart,
    Exodus 12:13
    God sets us apart for a sign that we'll not suffer what others suffer(ed) from.

Exod.11.6 - Then a loud wail will be heard throughout the land of Egypt; there has never been such wailing before, and there never will be again.
Exod.11.7 - But among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites.

  1. To become a reference point.

Matt.5.14 - You are the light of the world--like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see.

We are a city set on a hill.
We are reference points in attainments, career, professions,
Blood of Jesus mark us out in fame, success, preservation etc.

  1. To be shielded from harm and destruction.
    Exodus 12:13,
    ...And when I see the blood, I will pass over you...

Gen.4.15 - The LORD replied, "They will not kill you, for I will give seven times your punishment to anyone who does." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who might try to kill him.
God set a mark upon Cain.

  1. To carry a sign, a symbol or a seal usually of ownership or covenant.

1Pet.2.9 - But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are a kingdom of priests, God's holy nation, his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

We're royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people...
There is something unique/special about us and what didn't work for others will work for us,
We will not miss the markings of the Blood of Jesus in life's.

The Life Of The Israelites Before The Marking Of The Blood;

  1. They were maimed and killed.
  1. They were under captivity and burdens.
    They were a covenant people suffering what they shouldn't have.

  2. They became a nation under shame and mockery.

Before that time Isaac prospered like no man.
Whoever turns or tries to turn our glory into shame, their laughter and mockery shall end tonight, Amen.

  1. They suffered derailment of divine plans and purpose.

Why We Need To Be Marked By The Blood Of Jesus;
Life is in the Blood.

John.10.10 - The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.

Jesus came that we may have life abundantly.

NOTE;

John.1.29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look! There is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Jesus is the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.
The world represents Egypt and all manner of evil, that's why Jesus came to take away the evil from the world.

What Happened To The Israelites After The Shedding Of The Blood;

  1. They were divinely preserved.

  2. They plundered the Egyptians.

  3. They became the richest Nation overnight.
    What worked against them before began to work in their favor.

Benefits Of The Blood Of Jesus;

  1. Redemption.

Eph.1.7 - He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven.

We have redemption through the Blood of Jesus.
God will reset our minds.
We will not suffer what others suffered.

1John.1.7 - But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin.

Jesus cleanses us from all our sins.

Heb.13.11 - Under the system of Jewish laws, the high priest brought the blood of animals into the Holy Place as a sacrifice for sin, but the bodies of the animals were burned outside the camp.
Heb.13.12 - So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates in order to make his people holy by shedding his own blood.
Heb.13.13 - So let us go out to him outside the camp and bear the disgrace he bore.

We are sanctified by the Blood of Jesus.

1Pet.1.18 - For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver.

We are redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus, not by incorruptible things.

John.6.53 - So Jesus said again, "I assure you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.

There is no life in us except we eat the Flesh Of The Son Of God and drink His Blood.
When God introduced the blood, Pharoah gave way and everything changed.
Without redemption we could not have been saved.

Rom.5.9 - And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment.

Our pasts are washed away with Jesus' Blood.

2Cor.5.17 - What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!

We must stop being the biggest enemies of ourselves and not allow Satan keep us in our pasts.
We must begin to see the picture of the Blood of Jesus because nothing can hold us back when our sins are forgiven.
Satan takes advantage of people's sin/guilt to hold them down.
The children of Israel left Egypt and went to live in a place of Glory.

  1. It heals

Isa.53.5 - But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were healed!

Before any sickness shows up, healing's already on ground.

The markings of the Blood of Jesus exempts us from sicknesses, diseases, infirmities.

  1. It gives us victory.

Rev.12.11 - And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony. And they were not afraid to die.

  1. It gives us prosperity.

We must stop living in what Jesus has taken away.
Poverty is a thing of the mind and if we change our minds, everything changes.
Poverty is not just a reflection of what's in our pockets, but what's in our mindsThat's whyWe must not dress anyhow because its a reflection of who we are..

Joseph changed his garments.
Our dressing introduces us and is a reflection of what's in our minds.
If and when anyone calls us poor, we must retort back that we're not poor.

How To Mark Ourselves With The Blood Of Jesus;

  1. Come to the fountain of His Blood.

John.19.34 - One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and blood and water flowed out.

Without a coming, there is no marking,

Eph.2.16 - Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

  1. Consecrate our lives to holy living and service to God i e
    Gathering in worship,
    Growing in the Word,
    Going as witnesses.

A sinner can't apply the Blood of Jesus for advancement but for repentance.

Heb.9.14 - Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our hearts from deeds that lead to death so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

We must position ourselves for service to God to be consistently marked with the Blood of Jesus.

Our lives shall continue to be a wonder, Amen.

  1. Commitment to obedience and covenant practices.

  1. Conviction and faith in the potency of the Blood of Jesus.

Rom.3.25 - For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times.

  1. Engaging the Communion

John.6.53 - So Jesus said again, "I assure you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.

John.6.55 - For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.
John.6.56 - All who eat my flesh and drink my blood remain in me, and I in them.

So long as we dwell in Jesus, no altar of our father's houses can stop us, through the Blood of Jesus, we have become Joint Heirs with Jesus Christ.
